What the hell was Kyosho thinking with those rear doors??? They're meant to open the opposite way, ie. what is traditionally known as 'suicide doors'. This one glaring and unacceptable fault consigns this model to the trashcan. Paragon got this detail spot on. Kyosho, wake up and sort it out. You've done this to all your Phantom VI variants!

23:15 - this is me too - spent so much money on my collection. Probably spent about $100,000 on my collection since I started collecting in 1988. I do not want to think about it.

The Phantom VI was built from 1968 to 1998, so they were models with six speakers, even with a TV! (10:41)

The Rolls Royce Phantom 6 is probably the last time Rolls Royce cars were really things of beauty. Some of the grilles on the rear parcell shelf may have been air vents

You may find that the armrests can be moved down out of the seats. I could be wrong but they look moveable.

The folding "chairs" as you referred to them are called "dicky-seats" and were meant for the families children or impromptu passengers. (no fitted seat-belts) Rolls-Royce thought that they should cater to these "interlopers" due to the massive amount of space available within the car. Dicky-seats can also be found in old sports cars whereas the boot (trunk) was opened to reveal seats where children or vertically challenged adults could sit.🤔😁😎. As always, great camera work and narration explaining all the bits and bobs. Also a very nice model, rendered by Kyosho, a smart piece in anyones collection! I have a Kyosho 1:18 Ferrari 328 GTB (The Magnum PI car) of course rendered in superlative detail. I bought it over a decade ago for £60.🤩😍

I respectfully can’t agree with your assessment. As an owner of a RHD Phantom VI, I am impressed by many details (even the brake booster assembly at the rear of the transmission), but the glaring error with the doors makes this model inferior and worthless to a person familiar with these cars. The suicide doors at the rear are a primary characteristic of these phantom cars. Rolls Royces don’t have doors like regular cars as they are designed to be opened from the outside quickly by the chauffeur, without undignified reaching across or walking backwards. The centre pillar on a Phantom VI is narrow and invisible from outside. That the makers of this model either missed the characteristic or were too lazy to modify their standard chassis designs to match this is unforgivable. It’s not a model I would recommend anyone spend money on.
