Up to that point, Corden was successful at portraying Mr. "Nice" guy...all because so many never called him out on his crappy self absorbed attitude behind the scenes. Patrick called him out on it in such a public way, because he had just done shown his true self a few moments before. Corden was an ass and needed taken down a peg or ten. Belly joke only happened because Corden didn't like to be called out and like the bully he is, got in Patrick's face. Personally, thought Patrick showed much class and restraint.

I’ve met a few people who worked with the late Roger Moore and you’ll have trouble finding anyone with a bad word to say about him. This is because unlike Corden he took the time and trouble to get to know everyone on set, never used his status to do things like jump the queue in the canteen, never forgot anyone’s name nor talked down to them. A proper gentleman. Corden would do well to take a leaf out of his book. He’s still got time to do this before he totally disappears up his arse.

@@phuckweedI can attest to the virtues of Roger Moore ; back in 2012 I actually saw him - 'An evening with Roger Moore' ; on the stage for two hours, he was interviewd about his life by his P A ,Gareth Owen. The conversation and anecdotes flowed freely; the floor was then open for a Q and A session. He answered each question with grace, humility - and often ,humour. In a full house ,he was given a standing ovation - his wife and daughter were also in the audience -they were deeply moved. I'm so pleased that I attended.Such a wonderful man .

I saw Roger Moore about 20 years ago walking through Cavendish Square near Oxford street. I was outside chatting to a few work mates. It was slightly raining and he had his umbrella up wearing a very smart suit. For a second I thought of saying hello but I didn't want to disturb his day.

To see how James started in America see his appearance on Colbert. He got greedy and self-involved. He ruined favorite segments like carpool with spinoffs. So, he alienated many fans. Sadly in America, he found enough other fans. Sad for what he's become. I don't watch your negative segments. But watched this to say I really liked Corden & that he IS talented. I feel like I’ve seen this video before? I’m surprised Frankie Boyle is on the list. I didn’t think Matthew Horne ‘hated’ James Corden. I thought I’d read that they got on well at the filming of the recent Gavin & Stacey Christmas special. There might have been a point where James didn’t know the names of his crew but he 100% knows all of the ones who work on Late Late Show and regularly has ‘banter’ with them. Some might say that’s less about them and more of a cynical attempt to prove anyone wrong who says he doesn’t know his staff.

Bill Maher is essentially the world's grouchy uncle who says the things that a lot of people need to hear rather than what they want to hear. For example he ripped into former Washington Post reporter Felicia Sonmez over her extremely unacceptable behavior towards her colleagues at The Washington Post after reporter Dave Wiegel (I hope I spelled his last name right) retweeted a joke from a comedian about how every girl was either bipolar or bisexual. Felicia Sonmez threw an absolute shit fit on Twitter about this by remarking sarcastically that it was great for her to work at a news outlet where jokes like that were allowed.

Matt actually was filming something else on the day when he was asked to film an interview for piers Morgan life stories he was told they could only to it that day but Matt couldn’t do it, then their friendship went bad and blamed piers for the feud spiralling out of control and then obviously they came back together to film the Xmas special for Gavin and Stacey in 2019 and have since been friends again

Except för Gervais, those celebrities doesn’t come across as nice people. I have enjoyed his show, the communication with his band and staff. I remember the carpool karaoke, especially that with Sir Paul McCartney. I don’t get it, maybe because I’m not british.

Arguments against not knowing staff names are valid. That’s bad character and bad leadership. Arguments about stealing jokes are valid too. Arguments that some do not find carpool karaoke entertaining or worth winning an award are just petty, stupid shit. It doesn’t matter if carpool karaoke is real driving or live singing or one take or full day of filming. It’s not meant to be journalism. Considering how popular those episodes are with the average viewer, Corden knows how to entertain the public, which is literally his job. And somebody liking that or not liking that is a matter of personal taste- that’s it. Hating a host simply for not liking his show’s skits is wildly immature. Disliking a person for character flaws like plagiarism or mistreatment of staff is apropos as long as you’re not a hypocrite who does the same.

I hate James Corden's show He has WAY too many "candid" skits that are completely staged such as Celebrity Noses, where supposedly, the audience is supposed to guess the Celebrity by a picture of their nose. It always gets interrupted by various disasters that get worse and worse as it goes Or an Audience Q&A segment, in which everyone called is actually a staff member, usually the same ones each time with his own director as one He asks the audience if they have any questions about him or the show and the "audience members" will ask ask the same question three different ways such as a question about a guest instead of the show or "What is the current situation in Ukraine" or something like that Don't get me wrong, some of his skits are good like Drop The Mike, Carpool Karaoke and Crosswalk, The Musical, but those were few and far between

They’re not pretending Celebrity Noses is a real segment gone wrong. It’s quite clearly a skit. It’s also not a director who takes part, it’s one of the executive producers who is a long-term friend and collaborator of Corden. He’s also the son of Lord/Professor Robert Winston.

Why is it so important for everyone to "like" you? There's only one person who should "like" you, and that's you. It's not ego. It's being comfortable with who you are. People can simply grow away from each other for a variety of reasons. Cordon's not my favorite comic host, but he does have the right to fall out with an old friend if they are on separate paths. The idea that it happened due to Corden's ambitions and fame-climbing is sheer nonsense. That's why people buy it. It's dressed up to look like entertainment. This channel is the epitome of the word "gossip." It basically means spreading around "news" that is pure "fun-because-it's not-you" speculation. I think the reason people don't like him is that he has a kind haughty-naughty quality, like a little kid that's mischievous and annoying but likes to flaunt that annoyance because it entertain's HIM. One of the biggest killers of money, power and fame is to be "invisible." As you can see here, Cordon is not.

He wants to be liked though. He chose the career of being an entertainer. Entertainers need to liked to be successful. If he was a bloke working in a factory you’re absolutely correct. Don’t need to be liked to be good at a job. He is neither.

I liked him when he did a league of there own and tbh stopped watching it after he left. I hate him though on the late show, he always talks over who he is interviewing. Plus he asks them several questions at once and never let's them answer what he has just asked them

Limmy is right, Corden is completely fake. You only have to look at how he treats other people when he goes out for a meal, his voice is the one you can hear bellowing over and above anyone else. What's more it's not like he's got anything worthwhile to say, if he's not putting other people down he's disrespecting the restaurant, its staff, it's management and even other diners.
