I believe as of July 1, 2021, Wyoming became a “constitutional carry” state, where any legal resident who is 21 years or older, and may lawfully possess a firearm, may carry it concealed without a permit

I love Wyoming. It was our vacation spot for me and my late husband. We retired in Buffalo, because we love God's great outdoors and camping. Now widowed, I am back in Wisconsin. My dream of living in Wyoming, began when I was 12 years old. I love horses 🐎, cows 🐄, plus farming, and ranching. Beautiful scenery and climate. Winter not as bad as Wisconsin. Days not as sunny as Wyoming. Over the years, we have made many friends. God is good. 🤠🎉

In much of the state, Medical care and especially quality emergency medical care can be hard to find and very expensive. Most of us go to Utah, Montana, or Colorado for specialists. During the winter (November through April) the roads be closed at anytime. Interstate 80 is constantly closed during the winter so don't plan to go very far. Also, in the winter the roads are not well maintained and you know you have crossed the border into Utah or Colorado when the road suddenly is clear of snow and black ice, and safe. I have seen it snow in every month of the year and even seen the interstate closed in June and September because of blizzards. Even though we have a regional airport, the fares are so prohibitively expensive that most of us fly out of SLC or DIA. Again, many of us shop in Utah, Montana, or Wyoming as our choices are very limited. We don't have many of the 'big city' problems and the schools are well funded and teachers are appreciated. There is only one university, but there are many affordable community colleges. Wyoming is sure a beautiful place to live.

Good breakdown and sales pitch for moving here, and I love it here and our only regret is didn't move here sooner. You didn't mention Gillette, but this is a great community and haven't met a bad person yet since moving here. Kids ride their bikes around the neighborhoods without a worry, people walk around never worried about being accosted, and many things are close to how nice, friendly, and peaceful most of the country was 50 years ago where you didn't have to worry about thugs all the time like now in most of this country. There are many things I haven't yet done here, but I have plenty of time left to be able to get out there and enjoy. Besides, the winters aren't really all that bad for me, I have lived in northern Wisconsin and Colorado as well as worked in North Dakota and they are all snowier than here as well as WI and ND being far far colder.

Having lived in Casper for over 20 years, your review was spot on. I'd just like point that the cold winter temps are not all that bad because of sunny days and low humidity. What is bad is the frequent wind. Most of the larger Wyoming cities can boast that they are large enough to offer all services but without the big city problems like traffic. From downtown Casper you can be snow skiing in 30 minutes or water skiing/fishing in about 45 minutes. There's a lot to like.

I grew up here, winters we're brutal. 40 and 50 below , most of the time without high winds. You get a breeze or wind with it , the wind chill factor drives it to 55 to 65 below. Now it's not been like that since MT. Saint Helens blew up. I've been back now 10 years, the last two have been 30 to 50 below here in north central Wyo. Great video, I'm a transplant. I've lived on both coasts, almost drowned in both oceans (rip tides). Then lived in Colorado for several years, ending up working 10 miles from the Wyoming state line in Wellington, CO. I moved to Cheyenne to be closer to that job and now work and live in Cheyenne. I work outdoors too and the -30F down to -40F windchills are real and dangerous. FYI, Cheyenne is just over 6,000 feet elevation, higher than Denver. You just have to plan ahead and endure. The tradeoff is NO HUMIDITY in the summer months, I hate humidity. Oh yeah, you have to go out of your way to drown up here at 6k Elev. It happens, but you gotta go outa your way.

My son moved up to Casper two years ago and I spent last August there to escape the heat, went back and stayed mid October, November and December. Most of the time the snow in Casper has so little moisture content that driving in it is no problem at all. You can't even make a snowball or a snowman. We grew up with RWD cars and with snow tires did just fine 99% or the time. The other 1% of the time you simply stay home. Casper has a weather phenomenon call Chinook winds. The winds come over the mountains and warm things up very quickly. It can be around 0 degrees one day and warm up to 40 the next day and melt everything quickly. I guess that's one reason to appreciate the "windy city".

Sounds like upstate New York. Horrible windchill factors and snow so high it’s hard to believe.

Watched + enjoyed all 10 minutes and the 10 things. Love the belt buckle. Production feedback: Picture and sound aspects / quality: both excellent. The camera not moving all around like a buggy whip or a fly swatter, an annoyance seen in too many videos, is a plus, a relief. This is like a smooth 'dolly shot.' [Quip: "Alisha, you realize if this was shot in L.A. a scrim positioned between you and the camera would reduce the harsh light and soften features."] ONLY negative observation, and it's SO tiny, yet I offer it as constructive criticism: Cradled in your right hand, the black gadget, WHATEVER it is, after awhile becomes a bit distracting, e.g., "WHAT is she holding?" "WHY is she holding it throughout? . . . Her denim wardrobe has pockets." MAUI STRONG.
