If you're not trading in your PS4 you can take the hard drive out and use it for extra storage for your new PS5. You just need a USB hard drive case to plug it in.

I don’t think the skin looks bad but that’s just opinion, however the slim does have 1 terabyte of storage compared to the 825 of the base model

Per Experience I recommended that unless you are currently downloading a game in Rest mode, you should always fully extract your external hard drive and shut down your PS5. It does not take that long to boot up.

For ps remote play, is use an alt account on my phone, so my main will be staying connected to the ps5 while on my phone ill have my alt ps account, so ill have less input delay I dont do this as much since ive got my own monitor in my room Anyway take care everyone ✌️

PS5 Slim is best if you didn't have the original PS5, to begin with, that's why the original is being replaced and the Slim will now be the standard PS5. Ps5 Slim has better airflow since it has more holes the case is thinner and it's quieter

@@5_STAR01 Where more holes? Look at the back of the case, it got smaller. It's case is thinner bc they removed the vent grills, vent grills prevent dust from coming through. I don't understand what you're talking about.

Who would not want there PlayStation on rest mode that’s nuts to me it downloads updates charges controllers I’ve had mine stood upright on rest mode for 2 years and it’s never had to rebuild the hard drive or corrupted any data

I ordered a PS5 slim digital and COD disc from GameStop stop online for store pick because it was 20 dollars off COD and another 25% off my order foor ordering online for store pick got home to set it up and i was pleasantly surprised that they gave me the disc version and not the digital so i paid 517 for the disc version and COD winning 😂 COD was for my 12 year old he has the OG PS5 disc

You don’t need to buy the vertically stand. It stands fine without it.

U DEFINITELY need the stand. If you stand it up flat, you cover the air intake holes in the bottom. The stand gives enough gap to allow proper airflow to cool the unit

The is no major (if any) vents at the very bottom of the “slim” console. The vents are majorly located on the very top.

@@brynx24 The one that comes with the PS5 ends up with about 670GB free after the OS takes its required space. The M.2 slot is where I put the 8TB drive. My PS4 games alone are about 5TB. I can always add an external SSD down the line if I need more space for PS5 games on the M.2 drive.
