I would say Buffon and Yashin r on level terms. I have facts to back up Yashin cos of him he created the modern day gk which buffon used. So I wouldn't say buffon is the goat of goalkeepers but yes he is along or just compared to yashin

See Buffon did it like messi did but Yashin a man who saved 150 penalties had the best clearances surprised pele best passes and alot more. Juventus had a rich history of great GKs. Even now we Have Sczezny and Perin who are very good goalkeepers, but we will never feel the same because we had the privilege to Have for such a long time the greatest goalkeeper ever made. We will never Have another Gianluigi Buffon

Yes, this man is the greatest to ever do it. His positioning was so good that he rarely had to make diving saves. That sets him apart from so many other "flashy" keepers.

He deserved the ballon d'Or in 2006. He was the best for Italy in the world Cup. They gave It to Cannavaro maybe because he went tò Real Madrid and not to Buffon Who stayed loyal to Juventus and went with the team in serie B. Maybe to avoid general embarassment, polemics or whatever It was just easier to give It to Cannavaro. But as an italian I can tell you Buffon was supposed to win It in 2006. No doubt. Of course Cannavaro was also great and did great season. But this world.... Buffon did the most honorable thing and Lost the prize he deserved... Cannavaro did the easier thing leaving the team that made him great and got the prize. World upside down.

Ah man, 17yo as main GK for Parma FC, isn't that ridiculous? Imma choose Buffon over Yashin, Kahn, and Casillas. Such a great memory to watch this era. We have greatest GK generation, Greatest forward generation, arguably 2nd best defender generation, and best of the best midfielder generation. What a 2 decade of football world. Messi, CR7, Pirlo, Xabi, Zidane KDB, Iniesta, Sneijder, Thiago Silva, Zanetti, Buffon, Casillas, Chielini, and much more.
