I have been playing Isaac on PC on and off for actual years, 700+ hours into the game I still haven't unlocked all the characters

The first time I ever saw games with a Completion Rate of over 100%, it was the “Donkey Kong Country” trilogy on the SNES during my teen years in the ‘90’s. 🤘🤘

I remember the Donkey Kong Country games were the first I ever played with 1, 2, and 3 boasting 101%, 102% and 103% respectively. Wasn't especially challenging in the first game admittedly but they do require you to find everything, including finding and successfully completing every bonus stage on a single trip to a level so it could get tricky in the latter two games.

I'm surprised that DKC3 isn't on this list. That was a hell of a time to get full completion.

Burnout Paradise had more than 100% completion. Want to say 101% or 102%. Threw me for a loop at least.

Several Sierra (King's Quest, Space Quest, etc.) games would fit on this list. The old Sierra games had a points system, where every time you did something correct to advance in the game you received points. Some things were optional, and you could end the game without max score. However, in some of the games it was also possible to go above(and sometimes way above) the max score - either just by doing all the optional stuff, do both of a branching path choice, or even doing certain things unnecessarily over and over again.

How unfortunate that Enter the Gungeon does not keep track of its completion percentage... due to the sheer amount of unlockables, I feel like it would have definitely deserved an entry in this list!

SotN is SUCH a classic tho! How is there not even a MENTION of it with the other Castlevania? Over 100% is even a major plot device!

There needs to be more games like Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. The combat alone kept me in this game for hours.

You forgot Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. You haven't beaten it until you hit 105%.

The only games that i 100% were persona Q and Dark Cloud 2. I am usually done with it once i beat it and do the extra stuff. I don't go for platinum unless i really like the game. Yes, i know that it doesn't 100% system but i complete everything. 😅

Was disappointed that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was not on the list. I feel like it kind of Originated the whole 100%+ thing, and being the Grandaddy of the Metroidvania ouvre, should have been #1 on the list. No one knew how to get the full 200% for like, the first decade of its' existence.

The only game I’ve ever 100%+ I’ve done is Final Fantasy X-2. It’s 101% but to do the dungeon for that final 1 is a drain.

I remember in the original Modern Warfare 2 I ended up with something like 100.4% on the menu ^^’

Not actually a percentage, but Wii sports skill ratings were called "Pro" at 1000. The chart topped out at 2000. However, there was no cap. My tennis rating was 2393.

Getting to a mere 100% in a game I've thoroughly enjoyed (Broforce) was hard enough and I barely completed that a few days ago. I don’t think I'd have the patience to do it again on another game. Last game I tried for 100% on was one of the original versions of the original GTA Trilogy and I eventually quit playing because I couldn't figure out which hidden package(s) I'd missed.

Ooft first game I noticed with over 100% was Crash Bash making you get 200% with a friend playing co-op. Surprised that wasn't the crash game chosen cos arguably that is more frustrating than the Crash 4 stuff... Though Crash 4 is modern so I can see why.

A friend of mine had 101% on Super Meat Boy until they patched out a band-aid and reduced the total percent to 100.

Dust: An Elysian Tail maxes out at 117%

Got these all except Spyro :3 Have the trilogy but haven’t started it yet :3 And Cuphead (no desire to play that one) And have not gotten Binding of Isaac to infinity% LOL! In my MK Shaolin Monks my save data reads 115%. Single player game data if anyone wants to compare that stat.

I don't like it when Games going over 100%. I want to know when im completly finished with a Game and a percent Counter can Show it when it's end with 100% , when it's goes beyond that you must search what the Max percentage is.

disappointed that the trilogy I remember fist doing the 100+% thing wasn't mentioned.....Rare's Donkey Kong Country Trilogy capped at 101%, 102% and 105% respectively and I can't think of a game before DKC1 that did it. Also, Symphony of the Night's 200.6% was a pain for YEARS due to a single room many players couldn't figure out how to get into
