My favorite among these goals is the van Persie diving header at 17:44. Not because I'm Dutch. Not because the background music is beautiful (both are true.) But because I try to design a boardgame about the FIFA World Cup, and at this moment I think van Persies goal is best fitting as a thumbnail for that game, as the beauty of it can be shown using a single picture.

First of all: to select the 100 best goals of any decade is a nearly impossible task and I enjoyed watching your video. But in my opinion you missed out some very important goals and I can't understand all of your choices. There's a huge amount of long shot goals in it (mostly Premier League), which are great, but often tied to a lucky shot and not necessarily skill. And even then I think there are more important goals (where is Messi's freekick against Liverpool e.g.?). This selection would be better, if you considered the reputation of the competitions (a world cup goal is probably more important than a random league goal) and didn't miss out some of the most important countries (nearly no goals from the Bundesliga or Ligue 1). There are goals, which won a Puskas Award, but do not appear in your video... Nevertheless it's a subjective selection and you can't satisfy everyone. You still did a good job!
