@@Fiya_gamez I tried the cough and for me it gives me more anxiety bc I tend to jolt my whole body when I cough. It is a nice little mental trick though. I use a 25g 5/8”. My legs are pretty lean though so I don’t need a very long needle. Trust this video and trust me(and the 10s of thousands of others) when we say it is 99.9% painless. It doesn’t even register on the pain scale to me. If you have any tattoos, that is 100x more painful lol. Get it done!!

@@KCWeapon Thanks for your feedback. I tried everything before...and I hadn't heard this one. I understand exactly what you meant because another channel gave similar but not the same advice. I ended up trying this one...I didn't cough as hard as he did...KCW..I only used a light cough..nothing to throw my out of rhythm and move...worked to perfection. This guy have great advice here but I had to adjust by not coughing hard...literally didn't feel a thing. 🎉 I used 25 x 1.5", just didn't go all the way in. I'll end up switching to the size you used after this 5 set from my doc. He wanted me to go buttocks..I can't do that because while other can, I have the same issue: jolting etc.. thigh was awesome plus..I can see/watch. Good luck KCW and hope you find the right technique to ease the injection where you must take it. 💯

@@ameykazo4194 Good question! Well, can you pierce a hole in the skin and not bleed? I think the main concern is not shooting it into a vein, which he does by pulling back. I suppose the tiny capillaries are the culprit. I'm just an I.T. guy....on the decline! lol

Just curious… is there a reason your doctor doesn’t prescribe 22g needles? I use 18g to draw the testosterone & then 22g to inject. It definitely helps with the pain at times having a smaller needle

@@adamnagrone1775 a 25g is smaller than a 22g. You should be able to use down to about 30g needles. Especially if you draw with a larger needle then switch. It might take a few seconds to do the actual injection but it shouldn’t bleed any, and should be pretty much painless. Especially compared to a 22g.

Exactly! But I just followed along with him. And it might help if you find your spot and sort of look away and stare at him doing it. I did it sort of subconsciously and it worked...zero pain!

Holy crap! It works! I'm the tough guy who's scared of needles and always getting my girl to inject me. Just tried this and.... WOW! Literally painless. I tried before and it sucked. I doubt you'll die from anything going wrong. Risks include hitting a blood vessel (if so, put pressure on it) or a nerve. These instructions are intended to lessen the risk of those.

I remembered to cough right after I stuck the needle in up to the hub lol. **Slam - cough - aspirate - push** Still a successful injection though.

For best results- 1. You can warm of the vial of the solution in your hand for 5 minutes. 2. Clean the top of the vial with alcohol swab & let it dry. Do the same with the IM location on body (Make sure it completely dries to prevent pain) . 3. Use a drawing needle to draw medicine (normally a 18g) 4. Switch to a fresh needles for the injection 5. Stretch skin , After your quick 90 degree jab, pull back sqlightly on plunger, then push the meds through the barrel slowly (IM solutions are very thick so it may take a few seconds little) 6. Remove -> put Bandaid-> you can gentle massage area in a circle motion -> or use a heating pad on the injection location for 5 minutes after the injection. To lessen soreness

Dude this was amazing, thank you. I’ve been driving an hour every Sunday to get my sister to do it. Well today I didn’t have time so I searched for this and I’m shocked. It didn’t hurt at all. I was not able to “jab like a dart” or whatever, I had to just slowly push in a 20 gauge and it worked. Stretching the skin and using the outside of the middle of the thigh = no pain. If it hurts, stretch the skin more! Thank you so much

So I was talking to the lady that draws my blood. I spoke to her about the leg and how it was perfect the first time. Second time it stung. 3rd time it was ok.. she told me the best place is the butt. Showed me where and told me it’s 100% painless. A buddy also told me but I didn’t believe him but luckily he sent me a video to watch before this lady ever said anything. So I’m glad I ended up having a great reference. I’ve done it twice and it was crazy how it didn’t sting at all. Look up this video.. Glute injection - Paolo Broccardo. Good luck fellas!

Brother, do not listen to this idiot, first he hitted arthery in his leg, he didn't check it, he didn't push air out of syringe. He didn't mention that there's 90% chance that your leg will be fucked for couple days. Inject testosterone in shoulder same as vaccine.

This works great, my ventrogluteal injection site was starting to get destroyed from 2 injections per week. This seated thigh injection was so simple and easy compared to reaching around to ventroglute and having to stand on one leg

I don't jab it in like that (yikes) and I don't have any issues with pain, with the way that I do it. (I've done pinch the muscle then once the needle is in follow it down where the muscle isn't bunched up, this technique another RN did), I've also done position the needle close to the skin, and the skin is taught, then drive the needle all the way down to where the needle hub is resting on the skin. Can't you hit a nerve when you jab it in like that (VL, Glute, and Deltoid)?

Yeah, I do it pretty much the same as you. I do not like this guys recommendation of jabbing. Going a slow to medium speed has caused me to not fully hit a nerve many times. I was able to take the needle out before I completely went into the nerve. Can't imagine hitting it with a fast jab. Woulda been insanely awful

I feel safe doing it myself after watching this video. I will watch it again as I do it for the first time. My fear was not the possible pain, but a buddy Of mine told me you could hit a nerve or a vein and really make a mess. TY!!

Ive been on T for 8 years and I still get nervous to take my shot. Ive been taking it in the right leg bc im right handed so its easier. But today i used this trick on my left leg and NO PAIN! Thank you thank you to Nurse Scott! You really helped me!!!!

Great! Remember to rotate injections sites. You don't want to always inject in the same spot.

I think thats why its been painful in the right leg, when i started shots they said it was okay to do it in one leg. But time and studies have advanced, and im thankful for your method so i can now switch legs!! Thank you!

@@thenursescott I did do it! I'm feeling SO MUCH BETTER. 8 months of cream went OK but fizzled out, back down to 350 ng/dl.... I tried injections and discovered your video. I've watched it over 100 times on loop by now.

@@royedwards51 hey friend its been 5 months, I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. My muscles are growing, I don't feel like I am wasting away. I am eating cleaner than ever, have more energy than ever. I was dying with out Test. I have since moved on to sub cutaneous injection with insulin needles and have my blood work checked every 3 months. Check into it.

If you are injecting a large mL then post injection site pain is common. Depending on if this is the cause, you can pin more frequently with lower dosages. You can also alternate pin sites and rub vigorously for 10-30seconds to better disperse medication.

@@floridaredneck I’m not entirely sure but I was pushing the needle I really slow and I think that contributed to the issue. That’s really the only thing I was doing different. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 15 years so I’m so stranger to needles but the size difference is huge and was intimidating to get used to. I did another injection today and no pain at all.
