There is actually a factory option to replace the beech club with an extra crew or guest cabin.

Yeah and don't forget someone has to be on watch all night, too.

@@pookatim not in a boat of this size... That's entirely the point of a yacht under 28m ( 96feet) . That said , it does have a six crew cabin layout option .

@Šłēllā Śłär these style of boats are catering to the "rich grandparents who park a yacht " crowd. The owners / family do the cooking , its part of the family fun....think country style .... Trust me one well motivated stew can get this rig spik and span faster than you can imagine . Keep in mind , a house three times this size would still only use one housekeeper . Again the outside is not so very large that the captain and one deckhand can't knock everything out in s reasonable schedule . This yatch is under 96' , it doesn't require all the excessive paperwork , safety logs, etc etc etc... It essentially is just a big weekend boat as far as the authorities are concerned . A yachty has 8 to 10 hours a day to knock out their work . Also , for deep detail cleans etc , your Yacht management coordinator take care of all that. Which is usually tied to your household land based staff as well. So you have point of contact for all your staff. Think of him like a remote butler . He keeps in contact with the captain on the state of the vessel.

Most of these boats also hire day labor or dockwalkers when they are in port to clean it up in between charters. But most of the time these boats aren't getting driven all over the place either. They run from Port and out into the ocean for a day or 2, maybe 3 and then head back in. 2 or 3 days before the next charter guests arrive. 1 stewardess plus the captain and a deckhand are able to turn the boat around in that time. Hire a couple of dockwalkers to do some menial stuff like laundry, deck washing, cleaning and helping to reprovision her and you are set again. Most of the time an agency that runs the charters, employs people to come on and turn the boat over though. When privately-owned, these are managed by a yacht management company or manager. Then before the boat is ready to go out, they go through everything and help provision it. Sometimes, they even crew it themselves. Maybe get one other person to help. Life on a yacht isn't like what you see on TV. You don't need a chef,, chief stew, second stew, third stew, bosun, 4 deckhands, engineer, first officer, captain....

@@roonbare2769 the LOADLINE is under 24 meters, and THAT is why it does not require a commercial crew. Deck-wise it's almost 30 meters!!

This won't have an engineer. It'll have a skipper, a deckhand, and cook. You need an engineer if you're doing distance but this one won't be. It's for pottering around the med, or Florida along the Caribbean, but it's not a distance explorer. Such charter vessels are very common and they rarely or never come with qualified engineers. Bigger vessels do (Large Yacht Code, aka Superyachts).
