Your "bird nests" are actually roosting pockets. They are pouches where wild birds can roost on cold winter nights and be sheltered from the elements. I have never seen them with cotton in them before. They are cute the way you arranged them, but I think what will happen is birds will pull out the cotton to use for nests they build themselves. Wild birds are territorial and don't like close neighbors. Hummingbirds build tiny walnut sized nests and woodpeckers dig cavities in dead trees so neither of those will be interested in your bird hotel.

I love the little stool makeover. My Dad made all the families small stools for us to use in our bathrooms when our kids were little (for their feet while sitting on the pot and to reach the sink) and I recently found mine and am redoing it for my grandkids. Very precious to me, and I bet the person who made that stool did it for a similar reason. So glad you saved it. 😊

Beautiful finds and love the way you used them. I love the little nests! Probably Carolina wrens or chickadees most likely will use them. Hummingbirds build their nests out of spider webs. They come and steel mine out of my windows. Woodpeckers do not destroy your trees. They eat the beetles that are killing your trees. They are behind the bark eating their way up. Woodpeckers are considered the doctors of the trees and also by making the perfect holes, bluebirds find a new home to nest too. They are pretty beneficial. Just a short note on them. 😁

Cory I keep a small turntable with my paint supplies to use when I paint small items. It works great for turning items that are still wet.

I watch a lot of antiques and Thrifting and DIY, but your channel is so real and you always think outside the box and I try to do that as best as I can. I don’t get to the Goodwill bins as much as I wish I could because I got too sick people here in the house and I take care of, I do do things with the things I already have💚💚✌🏽

Everything turned out beautifully! My fav is the marriage between the broken music box and the silver pedestal. I like it just with the blue paint, but the wax really elevated the look! It looks like a cast iron piece now. It’s beautiful. And I hope you get some birds in the roosting pockets. I’ve never seen those before.

The little stool is adorable! I would use it as a plant stand to elevate a little planter. Perhaps in a trio of planters or other decorative elements. You have given it a new life! Great job!

Wow girl you hit it out of the park with your re-dos. Loved loved the bunny sign. It would be great for a children's bookstore entrance. loved all your bird decor. When I go traveling if I forget to return my room key (which seems often) I don't toss I use them to flatten my decopaged papers. Great for squeezing out excess glue.

This all turned out so beautiful together! I love how the bird figurine turned out on the little candle holder and that blue color you used and then the wax! I can’t wait to try that and I am constantly finding birds like that! These are my favorite kind of videos! You shop and then diy them! You do this so well! I look forward to the next! Oh!!! And the wooden sign holder with the bunny! If I saw that while shopping in a booth, it would be coming home with me…. Whatever the cost!🤷🏻‍♀️

I love ALL these flips! That arrow sign holder was an amazing find. I used to buy them at market, and they were not cheap. There are lots of seasonal things made to hang from it too. Maybe you'll find even more in the bins!

Fixed a broken leg on a stool once with an odd spindle. Made sure it was sturdy then sold it as an opsey daisy stool...plant stand riser, the lady loved it. Your is super cute Cory, you and hubs make a great team.
