Dude Frank completely dominated this challenge, to be fair I saw both teams, and I thought it was going to be almost an even match maybe coming down to One Versus One, dude that Gyarados was a force to be reckoned with it just took everything out. Low-key I honestly think that Urshifu could have been the one Pokemon that could have destroyed Frank

That Gyarados out speed perplexes me as well. The only reason for it I can think of is perhaps a minus speed nature for Sharpedo and bad speed IVs whereas the Gyarados must’ve had the exact opposite good speed IVs but Frank mentioned the natures not a plus speed one so we can rule that one out and just focus on the IVs There’s also a chance that it could’ve been a speed tie.

just some random tip, when dynamaxing every non-attacking move becomes max guard, so using shiftry as a Max Guard Option to burn Gyarados dynamax turn surely was a viable option and then max overgrowth him back. GGs to Frank btw, pretty clean this time :)

Sharpedo really isn't especially fast. Like base 90 maybe? Gyarados is base 80 IIRC, so it could have come down to natures

I calced it and yah Dylan's EVs did NOT go through. 252 spe Sharpedo outspeeds even 252 Jolly Gyrados. Both at 31 IVs ofc. It's close at a 2 point difference. I do want to see more of these theme battles though. If I had a request it'd be full Ice Type
