I love how most of the complaints boil down to “stuff that won’t let me win the game”

Who remembers dropping at the Mandolorians Cantina and fighting for the mythic sniper and jet pack? I wish mythical items were completely new weapons and not just buffed versions of current weapons. In the C3 live event, Epic even teased a new rail gun weapon that could have been the foundations weapon. There was also the foundation’s pistol and the jet packs that the Visitor and the Scientist used.

I really hope Fortnite fixes the skill base matchmaking problem. I don't mind for the shakedown feature being gone but there's one thing I hate. Sweats are killing the game. I hope they fix these features

SBMM is #1 IMO. This system needs more complexity. The game should reward you with more success as you improve. Today, there is a sharp decline in elims and ranking. It's demotivating. Those mid-div in arena should be with like kind in pubs as well.

Personally builds being a bit weaker is great, it's better for people that might not be great at that aspect of the game, and helps bring new people in by making them less overwhelmed by what used to be an effectively impenetrable skill gap

I personally hate the high sniper drop rate. I find so many in one game

The environmental damage for the MK-7 has been reduced so it doesnt break through walls that easily.

I understand that people want more newer items quicker, but the season is going all the way until March! We obviously want to spread these concepts out throughout the season.

They should change the upgrade bench back to when you use mats to upgrade you guns

Re: the web-slingers will be removed from Fornite soon. It would be cool if they came up with something similar: swinging by vines/grappling hooks/etc. Hopefully they won't remove the new sliding ability. In this game, with the storms moving in so fast, mobility is important.

I don't have that much complaints to be fair. I love everything and waiting for the future things yeet to come. The only complain I have is that I want sabers to be back (OP Mythic Infinity Blade too) and Webslingers coming back in another form. I understand the need for the SMG for attracing new and returning console and casuals players because more players = more players. Skill Gap did need to be reduced. I think I'm good/decent at the game. I know how to build, aim and play the game overall, but the thing i experience in C2 with three friends of mine is that they don't stand a chance trying to play casually with me whereas now they're more useful in battle and I can enjoy it more than before. So moral of the story, keep going this new route Fortnite ! Bring back fun ltms such as thanos Ltm and fun new weapons instead of the getting old pump/ar boxfight meta !

You forgot to mention the locker menu change. It's such a pain to look through your skins now.

The webs might be annoying in BR battles, but I just need it in creative to make cities to swing around in They just can't take away with the snap of a finger.. I get it, lightsabers are just special swords, But the web slingers are so detailed in how they work, they are way better than the spiderman games that are meant for it

Last season for xp was a huge problem. The first few weeks were a disaster because the game seemed really boring with barely any map changes and it really didn’t help that xp was so hard to get. Then they nerfed imposters which was the only other way to get decent xp. I then didn’t play for around a month. When fortnite mares dropped though the game was a bit more fun to play but I had tons of challenges to carry me through the rest of the season cause I didn’t play for a while. This season is actually really good (C2S2,3 and 4 are still better) but as I find this season a bit more fun I don’t really care about the xp being so hard to get. Although I mainly play imposters now as no one is online anymore and it’s still boring to play on my own. Also I’m getting a ton of third partiers recently and so many god damn sweats. I hope I can still enjoy this season in the next few weeks otherwise this season has gone from a 8/10 to like a 5/10

If I'm being honest, the builds being harder to use is something I like. Ik this is just me basically complaining, lol, but it can be hard for me to enjoy a match when I have someone build the Eiffel Tower on me in 3 seconds. Not insulting anyone who is a sweat, I can be sweaty as well sometimes, just is a nice change for new players who have trouble with that stuff.

I wish disguises were back with the og vaults and henchmen. I loved trolling players making them think I was a henchmen XD

Ok not having a bunch of stuff in the game rn (content like items, bosses, and exotics) isnt a bad thing. If they had released all that in the beginning, then we'd get bored as fast as most are now. Them slowly releasing this stuff is better because we can get surprised by things instead of like I said, getting bored at everything all at once. :]

the sniper that does 180 damage instead of 200 i think is pretty balanced since it has 3 bullets in a mag so you dont need to reload right after 1 shot

The only reason I like the hunter bolt sniper is because you can sort of double pump with it, you can do it with other snipers but since the hunter bolt has extra bullets it makes it more effective

My only complaint is the lack of verity , all guns this chapter have good dp, decent accuracy and above average ammo capacity, So it feels rather samy apart from fire rates of course . Also there's just basic weapons non with unique advantages and draw backs. I guess once we get to themed seasons that will probably change, but I feel like we lack verity at the moment. Maybe I've just gotten use to the crazy weapons from the previous season

Honestly I think it’s a good decision (In my opinion) that they are waiting to release the new updates since we get fresh content every week so the game doesn’t die in a week of chapter 3 coming out so when these updates do come out it will keep people playing because games such as warzone doesn’t get updated often which seems to make people quit the game and adding chunks of content every week seems to be a good idea also I agree they should buff the xp system I have resorted to xp glitches to level up

I have been having some issues with the guzzle juice lately. When you try to use it in storm it only heals for one hp, but out of storm it will bring you back to full health

This season is pretty pog but there are a couple of problems, thanks for addressing them t5g.

With the nate hills thing you also have to keep in mind it also happens with shotguns It also sucks that there are only 2 items that give you shields (technically there's like 6)

I agree with the disconnecting part very much. My dad couldn't play, whenever I would get battle stars I had to claim them 7 times and I also got a very good game, but like 2 shots from victory I got disconnected.

The zapatron was going to be mythic but I personally think it should be exotic

Did you know with the web slingers don't only use it to latch on the trees or to build use it to grab loot off the ground it does work I've tried it it's amazing

I could honestly go on for a while about issues I'm having with this season from bullet damage not adding up to the spiderman mythic issue but I'm just going to say this. I'm dissatisfied and pissed with alot of the issues that I've found.

I think the spraying does help counter the newer players not being able to keep up with the build wars

Yes I agree that the stinger smg needs less bullets. If your ambushed by a player with a rare stinger smg your dead

The Rock being the Foundation was disappointing because he is in everything and it just feels played out. The XP system should be fixed by now but nope it's screwed up again.

I know what people mean when they say The Foundation seems kinda meme-y now. I am pretty sure for myself that I won't be taking of f the helmet as it is just more epic with it. But I am also curious if others of the 7 will be celebrity faces With the XP I agree it could be a bit faster. But this season really brought my attention towards Creative mode. I never really used it, but now I check out some deathruns or something like that, which I think is nice I was never really a fan of the shotguns, just because I prefer long- or mid-range fighting, but they really need to buff them a bit. If I get a orange shotgun and see a blue pistol I am going for the later I really love the webslingers and I do hope the mechanic at least will stay. Maybe if there is an attack on Titan collab coming, I see the mechanic returning as ODM-gear

I disagree SO MUCH!! the spiderman web shooters are funny! The sweats say "ugh its overpowered" and then they use it and kill everyone!! Thats so unfair... emberassing.

I think this season is decently balanced when it comes to the weapon meta other than smgs, and shotguns being weak. Shotguns not being so good is a good thing in my opinion.

I have a really cool xp glitch to share here in the comment section. Step 1: Find the vault in one of the seven's outpost. Step 2: Start spraying the vault as much as you can, and you'll start getting xp because the game thinks you are opening it. PS: This only works once, if your try to do it in any other match it won't work unfortunately

The most hated thing in this game is...builds. Fortnite needs to remove builds and then either nerf the shotguns or find a way to remove the flipshot. Finally, make console only lobbies and the game improves for everyone involved.

Yeah, I usually choose any pistol over these new weak shotguns. Edit: thankfully, they fixed the shotguns.

Well, one thing i hate in chapter 3 and in the rest of the chapter it's are skill based matchmaking, i always find people who play as expert and i try hard to make a victory and rarely i win, but in casual (i never make competitive because the last time i play a competitive game i almost going nuts and be rageful), it's really hard to win, not only, with the experience you can obtain in creative, even in creative it's full of sweats player, cheater players, and people who play only for win, ruining the experience for good, each day for me it's an agony, because play in creative, specially in Red vs Blue map, it's the only way to guarantee 3 or 4 level of each day.

That video with the sniper not damaging, that's bad Internet or lots of ping, it happens in almost every game, and isn't epics fault

I find that the weapons do too much damage, fights are very short now and are just not interesting

The Stinger goes through its round so quickly so decreasing the amount of bullets would just make the gun useless.

Epic needs to make the web slingers into something not Collab related I was thinking the grappler shooters they act exactly like the web slingers except a little Less ammo (60 shots to be exact) and they come in legendary rarity it will still have the web slingers charm except it's Fortnite original.

I think they really need more explosives. I have only been playing for a few months and explosives were the only way for me to fight back againist sweats. Epic, please make snipers rarer and explosives more common.

Yeah my main 3 problems with this season is the xp, sbmm, and battle stars they suck, they should have solos meant for casuals (like me) and solos for sweats to even out the playing field along with duos squads ect and bring back the xp coins they were so good I loved them including when you did a Challenge and found a purple or gold coin heck even blue and green they were a really great way to level up they should definitely see/hear this comment because it will definitely (make fortnite great again) well for me anyway 😂. i absolutely HATE! the battle stars you have to be a famous UKpostsr like typical gamer, ninja, sypherpk. People with billions of dollars in the bank and just buy the whole battle pass collect all the Stars just to unlock the extra styles and everything there is just no easy way for regular/casual people like me that buy the 2800 version. unless you sweat all day in creative on kb&m and never get off 5 days later because you just enjoy clapping kids and getting stupid montages for your 10 sub channel

No i hope this is a lesson learned for leakers. There is a reason there is a downtime so the developers can go in and test the game before we are placed in that situation. They released the season because it made no sense to keep the hype up, when everyone already knows the secret. I didnt have any server issues when the new season launched but we really need to relax on selling out the secrets.

The XP system is actually on point it usually is! They always start the season with lover xp output and then slowly increase it as the season goes on take it from a grinder who is lvl 120 this season and got to 400 last season also and I think the shotguns are fine the way they are

Also the not 200 shot with snipers isn't that bad. It's still a powerful weapon, but now it gives people the possibly of fighting back

Season 8 xp was the best daily punch cards , character punchcards and weekly punch cards and it helped me get to level 312

I think i found i glitch i probably post it, but what happened was that i was down and you know how you can pick up or drop you loot that i was doing with the spider man web and I pick it up last second before the finish me and what happened it didn't drop but i stayed in my inventory so my teammates got my card and reboot me and when gliding i notice it was still in my inventory i prob make a better clip so how i did

We should get more mythics in fortnite based off of old ones. Getting wrist mounted grapples would replace the web slingers and be more zippy and less swinging. A plasma sword that functions similar to the lightsabers would be awesome. Etc. We could get brand new mythical items that could make the game better if effort and rotations to mythic drops were a thing. Sliding? Less powerful builds? More accurate less bloom reliant weapons? I'm kinda happy with that because it actually puts more focus on mobility and combat meaning fast super edits and such are less reliable. Narrows the skill gap by shrinking one side and adding to another giving actual balance instead of only nerfs. (Can't build/edit for the life of me so it's nice being able to have options to fight in other ways and not get boxed and edit-to-shotgun combo'd all the time.)

1. Shotgun damage or lack there of 2. Smg and Mk spamming make it impossible to hold walls 3. The drop off for the sniper. If you’re sniping from over 150+ meters the drop off rate with the snipes is ridiculous and damn near impossible to hit.

The thing that I hate the most are the crowns. Here are a few reasons why; 1. People flex their wins. It’s annoying when you feel good about having 1,2 or 3 wins and there is this one sweat that has 80+ 2. You know who is a sweat and who isn’t. When you are in a game and you look at the chat at the side of the screen, if you see people with crowns that means they are most likely to be sweaty. 3. The crowns make more sweats come. When you win a game and you get a crown, the game automatically’ this guy is good, he needs to go up against more sweats’ and puts you in sweatier lobby’s so you are instantly going to lose the crown.

I have to agree with the xp buff, like I did all my season, side challenges and most my milestones and I’m only level 60

fortnite probably predicted the spray meta and wanted it as an equalizer between pros and noobs. Many worse players are leaving the game saying the game is too sweaty now, so this may be the solution to bring fun for worse players back.

The thing is about the skill based matchmaking system is that half of the time you fight noobs, almost makes you feel bad for killing them when they have no chance, or in the other case you get into a sweat lobby and you are the noob now.

It would be cool if there was an exotic called the accelerating scar which has 50 ammo and the more you shoot it the faster it shoots but it goes away if you reload or switch weapons

My complaint with the web shooter is just that if your using them and someone shoot you you tan take a lot of fall damage if your decently high in the air wich is even more of a disadvantage for noob play when good play are attacking them and when they try to get away with the web shooters the better play are more likely able to get a shot on them with can make you take fall damage and die this has happened to me a couple times and it’s super annoying

There's many reasons I dislike the Spider-Man Mythics. 1 it's fairly common to see atleast 5 people using them. 2 people mainly use them to escape a battle and heal back to normal. 3 it's extremely hard to kill one person using it because you have to hit a target moving 30mph mid-air. 4 sweats mainly use it to get more action and take the fun out the match. 5 it makes fortnite as a whole less fun than it used to be.

Personally, my friends and I are quite upset at the broken "watch" function. It broke sometime in Chapter 2 Season 8 and is still down. We often fill up a lobby (passed squads into team rumble) and so we switch out sitting out and really miss the ability to watch friends playing while we sit out.

i absolutely LOVE the spiderman web slinger... if you know how to use it with expertise... then it allows you to travel around the map quicker than any previous method ever made so far. plus... the best thing about this season.... the slide function.... awe man that has soooo many uses... 💯

Another thing I hate is the llamas still move. I miss when you could go up to them and hold down a button and get all the loot. Now it’s so hard to get loot from them

Something that I personally hate So as you were saying about creator codes I have a pvp map for about 3 years my friends love this island It's not really a full map? More of just fun But my friends keeps randomly disconnecting because fornite is saying "your cheating/hacking" when he either grabs a gun does nothing or is just running around

My problem with bosses is that epic gets too nervous that sweats getting the mythics and loot so easily. But with the way bosses were formatted in chapter 2 season 2, it was already challenging with tons of other players and npcs. but epic keeps making it more and more unfair to fight bosses, and less fun therefore

12/22/21: Still having server issues :( Playing Duos with my son every weekend. I agree with the matchmaking too, was in a game last night 3rd partied dead trying to chug splash -both the other players were moving and building super fast. Spectating my assassin and looked like he was left with bots. It can be better
