Mike nearly always rushed to see if his opponent was OK after fight stopped. When he'd layer a man out you could see the concern on Miles face until they said they were OK. Height and reach are very important physical attributes to have as a boxer but of course you have to know how to use them to your advantage. My feeling on Mike Tyson is that he shouldn't have boxed passed the age of 30 because of his short stature. He had to rely on his speed which also helped generate his power to even have a chance of defeating the bigger taller prototypical heavyweights. Once those tools started to deteriorate with age he basically had little chance of beating guys that had the height reach and size advantage on him. One thing about Mike Tyson is that he is literally a boxing encyclopedia. He knows all about the boxers from back in the day and has probably watch as much film on the old guys as anyone who is alive today.
