Some of these feel a little obvious or easy to avoid (I’m only halfway through the video though). I’ve seen other commenters talk about some of them. I do like that none of them (so far) seem overly complicated or require a whole lot to pull off, so imma tell you about [an adaptation of] one I made that actually does (but only a little bit). Think of a drawbridge that goes over lava except the bridge can be retracted inside of a wall. The one I made was two blocks wide and each half went into their respective walls. I used sticky pistons to extend and retract the blocks that made up the walkway (obviously) (I used stone to represent cave floors). The trap part was, well, lava, only a few blocks deep, but the pool floor was several blocks below the trap floor; the whole hole was 7 blocks deep, let’s say, but the lava started 4 blocks down. The length of the pathway was maybe 50% longer than maximum player jump distance. From there, it’s a matter of redstone and a trigger system. Mine used levers because it was meant for use against mobs, but you could use tripwire and put it on a delay so that players are closer to the middle of it when the bridge opens.
