I am about to buy one in india it is a 2007 Cayenne s model only problem I have seen in that suv is its engine makes a tickling noise when it is started soon it dissappears when engine becomes hot should I be worried for that noise and how can we stop that noise the guy who owned it told me it a tappet noise I am afraid that to fix it I need to spend a lot of money as it is a 13 years old porche with one lakh kilometres on it can we stop this noise by adjusting the tappets.

Are you also running K&N panel filters. PS Have you drained your bulkhead as it causes a lot of issues, I made a video that could also help you. I'm adding your video to my Porsche Cayenne "tech tips"

He removed the tips and stuck a straight/flex pipe inside the muffler tub, effectively reducing the inlet diameter and introducing lots of turbulent exhaust gas to snap, crackle and pop...

Are you running stock paper filters? I did a before and after with the K&N panels installed.

I'm running stock filters. Watched your vid. Hard to tell if there is a difference just due to the proximity of the mic and stuff. Can you hear a difference? Feel a difference?

No. All cats are in place. This is an internal muffler bypass. Details here: rennlist.com/forums/porsche-cayenne-forum/800505-06-cs-exhaust-mod.html
