I don't see why it's brought up so much other than a response to the Cavs not getting swept. Yes, I understand that there was a high possibility he cost them Game 1, in that if the coach or JR had called a timeout right as he rebounded it, they could have set up a drive by LeBron or some other play to close out the game in regulation. This would also affect the momentum going into the other games, and possibly make the series 4-1 instead of a sweep. But from another point of view, if JR was the one that got the rebound, off of Hood's missed free throw. Had Hood made it, or if JR had not fought for the rebound, the entire situation would be different. I'm not entirely defending his huge mental blunder, but I don't see why it'll haunt the Cavs other than "they got swept"
