Frankly, this was much more of a beatdown than indicated by the score.

The greatest team ever. Why? Because they had a veteran quarterback who has been in 3 championship games from the sidelines and has seen the success and is the mastermind of patience and observation. He has waited his turn, and unbelievably was a first year starter and was a main piece of the greatest team to ever play national football.

This might sound weird, but I’m an Alabama fan from Idaho. When I was a freshman in high school I came across the music city bowl that Bama was playing in against Minnesota, Alabama lost that day but for some reason I was hooked, 16 years later I cant believe the awesome ride this team has taken so many fans on! And the best thing is...”we ain’t done yet...” ROLLLLLLL TIDE!!!!!

I find it amazing how good Alabama is every single year it's ridiculous! Even after they lose half of their team to the NFL draft they are still good.

I just watched this again to see OSU's DBs chasing after Bama's receivers all night. Bama scored 52 points in 47 minutes against the #3 team in the nation.

All my friends always trying to make excuses about how Devonta won heisman but after this game he really shut every body up. Especially watching him since he was a freshman it was amazing being able to watch him get better every year.

Everyone on 'Bama gave it their all, and played awesome. The deal breaker, in my opinion, was Najee Harris. He was the strongest link in this game, and took Ohio State behind the woodshed. After Smith was taken out, Harris was one of several players who really stepped up. Sorry, I meant "THE Ohio State" for those of you who wear your stupidity on your sleeves.

Ohio state fans have asked me since that 2014 game where they beat Alabama for the only time, if that still bothers me. Actually, it doesn't. Alabama moved on from that game and won two more national championships, actually now three. You can't win every game, but at Alabama, they come really, really close. It's a big deal for teams, like OSU, to beat Alabama. When Alabama beats a team, it's expected, which is why you will never see their fans storm the field - your team is just another game, forgotten about a week later. I can't rap my head around having only one game from seven years ago to hang my hat on. Bragging about a dynasty that has only won three national championships since 1968, ok sure - go get um tiger 😆

I have so much respect for Ohio State and their athletic tradition. The two schools actually mirror one another. Great game.

Watching this tape for the second time, Ohio State really tried to get physical with Alabama. As we can see, it did not work. I am impressed with how the Alabama players' maintained their discipline on some very suspect plays and calls. Perhaps a little east coast bias here? I live on the west coast and find SEC foot is at another level. On another note, the team that got the short end of the stick was Texas A&M. Should have replaced Notre Dame or Ohio State.
