Good one. One of these backs on to me at my boat's marina. It's certainly not unattractive. Cheers for a fairly unbiased review. One of my pet hates in certain boat publications are reviews that are basically P.R campaigns for the manufacturer so everything is "wow... best in class.... amazing....." etc.. so personally I do appreciate a bit of honesty with bits you like and bits you're less impressed with. I mostly love my boat but there are plenty of areas where I'd say they could have done things better, so thumbs up for a bit of honesty. And you're just down the road from my home town so you get another thumbs up for that one. Nice one lads.

And more importantly the smaller belly! :-) I'm just starting out in boating and would love to get up to a 40 footer but unconsciously I'm comparing everything I see with the Galeon I saw a while back and hmmmmm I'm struggling to get past that in terms of how inviting it looked in terms of interior space..... New to boating. I am looking at an Antares 11 2021(36ft) and a fairline 38ft open Targa 2014. They have similar accommodations and similar price. I have no idea what is better. My instinct tells me that a 2021 boat should be better. The Antares has dual outboards and the Fairline dual inboards. Any ideas? Thank you.

Its a nice boat ,well laid out. A bit of weight loss is always good they say. II lost a similar amount myself and was delighted. I had to go back on steroids for medical reasons and I'm fighting the urge to munch. I'd eat the wooden leg off long John Silver. The dog looks like he was on the diet too. The boat being French, Its not prone to going on strike is it?😉

I think it's alright but all the corners will hurt you eventually. You should substract one in quality for those.

I have quite a long experience with group Beneteau. It has been positive. Remember, you are evaluating a cored GRP hull. So in this case, good enough is good enough for me. State of the art when it comes to GRP hulls, it is just a more expensive good enough in my view. If more stylish means black lacquered panels and fittings, I will pass that one, since in the glare of the med, fingerprints look awful, and I don’t want to spend my life cleaning them up with microfiber and a glass cleaner, in order to get this immaculate, streak free shiny surface. This is not how you are supposed to spend your precious time on the boat. On top, it was designed for people who understand how boats are used. No useless gimmicks like electrically moving couches and deck extensions, that come at a hefty price and fail soon after purchase because they never get used… I would only suggest you apply an anti-osmosis treatment to the hull under the waterline, before you splash… To me, state of the art is not a flashy result… state of the art is seaworthiness and durability, and in my view, GRP is not good enough on either of these aspects…

Nice presentation of another ugly boat. There’s just no comparison between modern day boats and boats built in the days where craftsmen constructed wood interiors with classic exterior lines. We’ve gone backwards in terms of style and quality. A real shame.
