I will warn you, it might be convenient but it’s definitely not more affordable for the instax printers, the mini film costs about $1 for each photo which is pretty pricey over time

I have the Instax wide printer. I've had success cutting the borders without issue. In fact, I've printed multiple photos on one and cut them up for journals without any issues. The back of the film fuses with the front image and does not separate.

Hi, another excellent video. Very good comparison. Can the kodak print borders in single picture mode??? It looks like it prints right up the the edges and there may be occasions when you would want a border to frame your photo. Also, does kodak have a new printer that is also a camera hybrid, which allows you to save your pictures on the device as well as print them after taking them? Would be interested to. Know if you are aware

You can make it print boarders by turning the setting on in the app but by default it prints to the edges (and she said she was only using defaults in the video)

I like the thought, but when you consider the initial purchase price of the printers and continually having to buy film, paper, and ink, the cost gets away from being practical very quick. Alternatively, my local Walmart only charges $0.14 for a 4 x 6 print. And they can do it within an hour. All I have to do is upload my photos to the website and then drive down the street to pick them up. The only advantage this could have is if I wanted to print out photos instantaneously at an event where people could not get a hold of me later on. But even then it would hardly be worth the investment.

the problem with kodak is when you need to replace the ink cartridge when it's empty thats why instax films are expensive and kodak films are less expensive

Thanks! 😊 the checkerboard pattern I made myself using stickers. It's a black & white kodak camera, I cut small black & white square stickers and decorate it one by one to make the checkboard pattern. 😁

I have the Mini Link 1, but I found the colour appears to be a little bit pale and I am thinking whether I should get the Evo or Mini Link2. Hello guys, I cannot decide between getting Mini Evo vs Link 2. I like the option with Evo that I can take photos but I want to use it as a printer as well because I am also taking photos using S22 Ultra. The only thing that I am not sure about is the Mini Evo photo on the video looks less crispy around the edges compared to Link 2. Is that really true that photo is loosing a little bit of quality or is that something that only looks like it because of the video angle?

link 2 can only use like a printer, it's the difference between this devices. For print from phone better choice is Link Wide - he have biggest size and quality.
