The May 29th national and provincial elections have seen a record-breaking number of candidates, with 58-point-14 percent of the list being male and 41-point-86 percent being female.
New and smaller parties contesting the national and provincial elections for the first time are hoping to get a share of the vote from the 27-point-79 million registered eligible voters.
But what is their role in possibly influencing the elections outcome?
