Hot take - the Penix pick was chosen due to the incoming Tampering Saga with Cousins. And potentially loss of Rd1 pick on 2025? Hence, they took their franchise QB this year?

Very possible. Plus if they’re the team to beat in that division the next couple of years they won’t have another chance to get a guy like Penix later.

I'm with you on the Achilles injury. Tore mine & had surgery back in July. Hooped for the first time last night and that leg still isn't right after 9-10 months. Cousins has better doctors and physique obviously but to think he'll be back to normal in September is wild

3 days ago Bowers was elite. I give him the exact same situation as Pitts coming out. Not a great team, bad QB, will be lucky to grow in value but should hold. No TEP still gotta be a first rounder.

Michael penix will not play this year. As long as kirk is healthy hes in. You dont pay a guy almost 200 mil guaranteed and bench him yesr 1 if healthy

How are the Bills supposed to trade for a huge money WR when they were like so over the cap already they had to let a bunch of guys go. And they’re still paying a portion of Diggs contract too. I don’t think they have any cap room to trade for Deebo or Tee Higgins who expects a contract wherever he goes. Edit: just checked.. Spotrac shows Bills having 3.6 mil in cap space.

Rayyyyyyy! I'm still pissed over last night! Not because the pick of Weapon X Brock Bowers isn't a good prospect or pick... I'm pissed because as a LONG TIME UW Husky & Raider Fan, Micheal Penix Jr. should be a Raider right now! You do whatever it takes to get that winner, great leader elite arm velocity with accuracy franchise QB! Penix was meant to be a Raider ever since he beat that LOSER Bo Nix in Raiders Stadium for the Pac 12 Title last December... Just like I said after the Huskies & Penix postseason ended, while the media and Raider fans kept bashing Penix draft outlook (with nonstop googly eyes for Daniels) Micheal will be a TOP 10 QB AND I WAS 100% RIGHT - YOU HAD TO GET PAST Denver, Minny, and yes even ATL, as Penix was mocked to Falcons by PFF's draft guys Connor Rogers & Trevor Sikkema many times before Free Agency started prior to the Cousins signing... Telesco and Coach Pierce kept feeding Raider fans & media the DELUSIONAL scenario about moving up to the #2 slot for Jayden, which was NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. They should have been hounding the Titans nonstop for the #7 pick, a great trade down partner as Titans are a transitional team, could have used extra picks from Raiders AND still got a big RT in Oregon State's Fuaga... Bowers is gonna be just fine for the Raiders, but the Raider QB situation has SUCKED for too long now (with medioCarr, Aidan, Minshew who are all MEH TRAITED QB'S) two who are backup profiles for 8 years now into the Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Burrow, Herbert era. So Ziegler now Telesco & AP NEED TO TRADE THE HELL UP (Stroud last year, Penix this year) or quit winning MEANINGLESS games late in December that keeps the Raiders in QB Draft Purgatory every damn year! NFL IS A QB RAN league and has been for awhile now, don't gimme that Brady, Wilson, Dak, Purdy outlier drafted QB's excuse either, GET THE FRANCHISE QB or Telesco & AP will quickly be another failed Raider Regime 3 years from now!
