They got rid of the group banter in the intro talking about the cars like over a year ago. If you go back to their older videos of this vs that, you can see 3-4 of the guys talking to the owner about the mods done to it before the race and have great banter. After that they changed it to have one guy with the owner and mostly have the owner talk about the car. Now they are putting the info about the cars after the race. It wouldn't surprise me if Micah, Gary and Zac leave as well. Then it will be no one and this channel will become the next Fitment Industries.

Not sure it makes sense to do the walk around and specs toward the end of the episode… a lot of the fun for me and most car guys is making a prediction/bet based on written specs, since we all know real world performance and written performance are two different things, not to mention driver skill coming into play. Hopefully this was a one off thing

I met Miguel before and he is 1. Super nice. 2. Has built this Eclipse from several cars over a decade. He is a fantastic example of the car community and what you can do with strong motivation and kind friends. 3. The Eclipse is fast. It wasn't far behind. 4. His car wins the beauty contest. They are trying something new and totally failing... Guarantee the watch rate of the video past the racing is almost non-existent... Because you need to know what the matchup is first before you have the race otherwise it is pointless to even keep going with the video... Agreed, I want to click off after the racing. Just shorten the intros up. Look at intro time vs racing time in the overall length of the videos. I like knowing how each car is modified before they race. Just keep it tight. Keep up the awesome work guys.

Having the predictions and racing before talks about the vehicles with the owners / builders is like blowing to the first thing that gets you there, sure you got there but the journey wasn't all that interesting - giving the backstory about the vehicles before racing builds anticipation and in turn creates a better climax ;) The talks with owners / builders creates a connection too so you may find someone you resonate with and hope they win instead of it being a cold battle of numbers on paper, the nuance is lost along with the passion from drivers. This episode caught my eye because of the interesting match up, hopefully the formula change doesn't sour the show - feels like it ran as good as the Eclipse (right parts but not the right configuration / tuning).

Walk around is def better first. The swap doesn’t really make me less interested but the walk around first builds suspense and allows me time and information to come up with my own guess as to what’s gonna win so I feel more invested in the race

Idk about everyone else but I definitely prefer the other order with walk arounds first so I know a bit about the car and driver before racing that way I can make actual predictions

I had an GSX in high school. I sold it for a Jeep Cherokee.. LMAO! That was over 10 years ago. I wish I still had the Eclipse. I am glad I found Miguel On IG. It gives me hope that I will have an GSX project car in the near future. Good stuff. Good seeing him on this channel.
