It’s an interesting evolutionary update. I’m fine with Kia maintaining the amber DRL’s, but I’m torn regarding the new tail light design. With lighter colors, the outline around the updated tail lights are odd and a bit heavy. At one point in the video, the passenger side tail light flashed/illuminated, almost as if it were the turning indicator. The Korea spec K5 features rear amber turning indicators so not sure if they will be red in the US. I still feel that the updated Hyundai Sonata looks better in comparison but need to see the K5 in person! Hopefully it will be at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show next year.

Not a fan of the restyle , the back taillights and how they protrude downwards gives an Older Prius vibe . The front DRL heartbeat design is eye catching , and the DRL being above the headlight makes it look less aggressive than previous years .
