Great video. A lot of the games you showed were single player games or low population multiplayer games. I am curious how this little device would perform on games like World of Warcraft or other mmos. With a lot of players on screen like raids or battlegrounds is this device able to perform well? Thanks EVO Tech.

Good video. Interesting how the next with the 780M is even better. Performance such as this from iGPUs is so impressive. I remember how bad things were 20 or more years ago. What am I talking about, even last decade things were terrible for iGPUs.

Been binge watching your vids about mini pc's and on the fence to buy this model. My aging itx build is getting long in the tooth. How's the bios support and linux support of Beelink? Also, i know 780m is better, but how big of a difference between 680m?

the 780M seems to be around 10-30% depending on specific workload. the SER6 MAX so far has the best bios of any beelink system i've tried. you can actually adjust the TDP and have control of a lot of bios features. have not tried linux on this specifically, but all other beelink units have worked fine with Fadora and Ubuntu. I have tested Mint and OpenSUSE on others and have not run into any issues with any mini PC so far. Well besides needing to mess around with hardware acceleration for intel systems on MX linux.

I got one of these at an amazing price and mostly like it. I turned the TDP down to 35W in the BIOS (had to type in 35000 manually in a few spots) to keep it running quietly regardless of what it is doing. I would be curious how different TDP affect performance on it. I assume it is quite different compared to the 5600 and similar.

You will still save a decent sum of money on electricity bills compared to a fullsized gaming pc so put that into consideration. Especially in Europe

Hey if you love it, I’m not gonna hate on that. I tend to have issues playing vanilla Bethesda games personally. It usually takes modding to get it to an enjoyable state for me, but if you’ve managed to get over 300 hours of fun out of it, that’s awesome! That just means you’re gonna have even more content to enjoy over the years as official mod tools and DLC come out.

By WOT do you mean world of tanks? Because if that’s the case it runs pretty amazingly on this system. It’s an insanely well optimized game in general tho. They know how massive their audience is so they try to make it work on pretty much anything.

Newbie question, but why does the RAM speed only show at 2400mhz? Shouldn't DDR5 be much faster?

DDR stands for double data rate. So depending on the software used to read the speeds, 4800mhz ram will read as 2400, because the double data rate of it would be 4800. It’s also why for ddr4, 3200 will read as 1600 on some software.
