These cases are great for those that change cases frequently. Could be great for those that are trying to match their cases to their outfits. I’ve used many cheap, clear and minimal cases and they’ve lasted years. I have used some of the silicone Apple Cases that I bought straight from a physical Apple Store only for them to fall apart in a few months.

THANK YOU FOR THIS ! this video was somewhat insulting especially for me who just buys off-brand cases to save money (since i got my phone on installment). lots of off-brand cases are actually super high quality and this was a bit of an exaggeration.

yeah, i bought a silicone case for my se 2020. it was cute (pink) and felt nice, but eventually the silicone kinda bubbled or maybe got weak, and then tore in multiple spots at the sides and back, and the silicone rubber part started peeling away from the hard shell in the bottom left corner 🫠 i bought a cheaper silicone case off amazon that i’ve had for a year and it worked way better.

I hate the clear MagSafe case so much. There’s no protection at all - the fact that my phone lasted the year I used it regularly is surprising.

@@graceluruolei are all MagSafe cases like that? i’m upgrading to a 13 Pro Max after having an 11 the past few years and i don’t think i’ll use MagSafe accessories but i’ve seen some cases i like that are compatible with it.

@@Annie-xu9dz No, it really depends on the brand. I use a Casetify case w/o MagSafe, and it is pricy, but it is extremely protective, and the MagSafe cases are pretty similar. That said, definitely look into their recasetify program (15% off if you send in an old case), and if that's still out of the budget (because mine was a splurge), I've seen some on Amazon that look promising.

I have bought the same 5-15 dollar case from Walmart for every phone Iv had… they went up alittle in price over the years but I do remember the 5 dollar one and it was amazing. these cases last me years. They are amazing… super slim but also really protects my phone well! And u drop my phone on the cement a minimum of once a day. No reason to spend a lot of money! 📱

Its always funny seeing these sorts of video. My sister who is an Apple fan always uses expensige custom cases for her phone. She usually gets about 6 months. I usually use the 15 dollar ones from Amazon on my Samsung and get about a year.

They are actually smarter than you are, Justine. At 04:10 you are putting a iPhone 13 Pro in that case. The case is for iPhone 13, which has a smaller camera.

It's funny watching her talking about cheap products, considering that where I live it's what most people can afford (myself included), considering that an Iphone case might cost more than half of the minimum wage. I know, ihpnes are already expensive, so someone that is willing to spend his/her money on one, might have the money to buy a good case, not necessarily an official one, but sometimes someone might need one Iphone to work or might save months of his/her wage to buy one for wanting so much and will just need one case. Not a criticism, just comparing realities.

The white and gold case I would use. I don't buy cheap cases. Usually use $20+ cases but I change them every few months. So I guess cheap cases are more for people that switch their case frequently. I just feel the phone isnt really protected. The same for some original apple cases, dont protect at all.

I wish I'd seen this, around 6 months ago or so. I bought a good case for my new iPhone - at an AT&T store. But then I also bought a charger that you can just lay the phone upon, and it would charge it. Then the rep pushed an attachment to put on the phone within which I could slip my fingers and have a good grip on the phone. Great! Except that the attachment is permanent to the case... and it stood it off from the charger so that it would not work. So every night I had to slip the phone out of the case, to charge it, and that cracked the case pretty quickly. Yeah... I know whose fault all of this is. I just wish the store employees had a little bit more knowledge, or at least the one I encountered. The screen protector is also pealing off. I should have just bought the phone... from Apple directly. Which I did. And which is the only thing that works.

You're so right though. The only thing I could say is that don't ever buy some of these for more than $5-10 from companies online because usually it's dropshipping. I get them straight from aliexpress (and of course, doing the proper research for the model i have, reviews, etc) and even if I wait for a bit to get them it's worth the price. (and phone stores - not retail ones- also get them in bulk from aliexpress / alibaba and overprice them like crazy.) I saw some cases here i would totally get if i had an iPhone. As someone who doesn't go out as much and only stays at home, the cutesy cases can be a real treat especially if you like changing them often. A lot of them also do pretty well in protecting your phone as long as you're not chucking it across the room.

3:09 you didn't broke it. It's "stand" mode. The half of the back isn't glued it so it bends. You bend the back and put your phone on the bottom of the flip.

I'd take the gaming console case with my iPhone. It does look very innovative, and in case my phone shuts down or whatver, I switch it on. The camera phone case looks splendid as well. If only technology was implemented in it where it would connect to your phone and take pictures. 😔

I’m shocked at the negativity of this video. I usually come to ijustine for positivity. These cases are much more what I use for my phones since I cant afford the otterbox or whatever other premium brands usually features on this channel. Feeling attacked

I don’t get negativity from this at all. She is calling out quality and items that don’t even fit when supposedly labeled to fit. So, if someone who doesn’t have much money bought one of these, they would be without a functional case and money. So I feel she was justified in her harshness of the reviews. Secondly, you can buy a quality case for not much money that will still provide some level of protection that these will not provide. So not sure why you feel attacked. She purchased with her money and giving her review
