The Plasma XTE will give you 20 ft of drop protection and comes with a nicely implemented built in ring stand. Its translucent backplate also lets you show off your lovely iPhone.
And the smaller, sleeker Civilian case is more modestly priced and gives you the same 20 ft drop protection as the Plasma XTE, but does not come with the cool built in stand.
Never fear, however: you can still get some great stand functionality with the Civilian and Monarch Pro Forged Carbon cases by using UAG's Magnetic Ring Stand, which is a standalone MagSafe stand which has extremely strong magnets and can be used in a dizzyingly large number of angles and positions. These cases are all available directly from UAG as well as from other retailers and the Monarch Pro in Forged Carbon is the most expensive at $149.95. The Plasma XTE is more modestly priced at $69.95 and the Civilian is the cheapest at $59.95. The Civilian also comes in several colors: Bordeaux, Black, Mallard and Olive Drab.
