@@dd-dd2co Unlike Bugatti, low numbered plates are no longer manufactured and are the real way of showcasing extreme wealth and/or social status. In Dubai, the roads and traffic are extremely hectic and a low numbered plate on the road makes you subconsciously 'respect' that vehicle, aka no cutting them off, being careful and never road raging them just in case they're part or connected to royal family. For these reasons, they can cost hundreds of times the Bugatti Chiron.

I think the UAE government has been watching the criticism videos on UKposts recently. Because I think they announced some train and walkable infrastructure thing about a month or two after a video got uploaded that called Dubai pedestrian-unfriendly. There was another video and Dubai announced something not long after that got uploaded because it got millions of views, but I don’t remember what it was… Although there is the other city in the UAE, Abu Dhabi, and while it has less population than Dubai they’re the one with the Ferrari theme park. What’s even funnier is that technically, Abu Dhabi is richer than Dubai. They rely on oil more than Dubai does. Dubai runs more on tourism than oil as an attempt to diversify their economy iirc.
