I can always remember my eyes glazing over in college all those years ago, on some ac theory lessons including this! You are so good at explaining and making what was once a seemingly difficult topic, easy! If only you were my tutor back then!!! I've just completed the 3-phase Star & Delta principles section of my level 3 C&G book as best as I could, not understanding it. Having just gone through your videos on Star & Delta tutorial videos on UKposts, I have now gone back over this section, answered the calculations and my understanding is much clearer now than it was before I started. Hi! Great video by the way - learned a lot. One thing I am still trying to figure out is the power. More precisely, is the total power calculated by simply adding all three or is there some tricky formula for that? And just to be on the same page, here is my problem: I have a star configuration generator, I used your calculations to determine phase voltage and current. I suppose I can now simply use P=VI formula for each phase. And since each coil is a separate load it has its own power output (probably not said the best or right way). Can I now add them to determine the total power if there was no other way of measuring it? Question #2: When I rectify the output using a three phase full bridge r., does something "weird happen to the power output?? Thank you a lot for answering and have a great day.
