День томуIn this UKposts video we tour and review 3 of the best camper trailers with no dinette.
As we have been touring travel trailers at RV Shows and RV dealerships across the country, we have seen more and more travel trailers designed with no dinette.
With no dinette in the trailer, we have found that there is more living space, and it allows for a multifunctional design. For example - in place of the dinette, RV manufacturers are installing a sofa that can also serve as a bed. And the sofa can also be used as the dining table. So now you have three functions in place of a dinette table.

The Retro 135 is on our list of potential purchases, but we definitely want the dinette instead of the sofa. We spend most of our time outdoors while camping, but if the weather is bad we want a comfortable place to sit for meals and playing board games or doing puzzles.

I really like Jay Feather! All that kitchen space is incredible! The only concern is where do the other two people sleep? Is it on the recliners? Maybe an air mattress would fit on the floor?

I absolutely love the idea with no dinette for more space! You can also bring along TV trays👍 The thing my husband & I are having troubles with is finding a trailer we like that we can pull with our jeep! I like dry baths with a sink & mirror in the bathroom. Thanks for your videos! They’re always so interesting to see so many different trailers!😁

We love the no dinette concept too, and prefer the dry bath. Many wet bath owners have great tricks to help remove the water after showering so it's doable, just not preferable. What is the tow capacity of your Jeep? Let's see if we can find you something you like. Thank you for your support!

Thanks for responding ☺️ Really appreciate it…. We have a 4 door Jeep Wrangler with a towing max capacity of 3,500 lbs. With that, my husband was wondering how much of that towing weight do people usually leave for their gear? That would make a difference then, on how much weight the trailer is. We have done a little checking & we really like the R-Pod 190C & that’s about 2,800 lbs. Do you think we’d be able to pull that with gear? We haven’t gone to any camper lots to talk with anyone but plan on doing that sometime soon😉

@@debbyh.9028 sorry for the delay. We recommend towing only 80% of the vehicles GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) to be safe. That being said, if your Jeep can tow 3,500lbs, your RV and it's contents shouldn't weigh more 2,800lbs. The R-Pod 190C has a UVW of almost 3,000lbs and that will not include contents like clothing and food. So sounds like that RV would put you overweight. Unfortunately The Jeep Wrangler doesn't have a great tow capacity. Any of the 3 in this video would work. I think that is really nice that you promote Matt’s toilet treatment. I’m sure he would appreciate it as well. I think the first rv with it’s retro look is really cool looking. I wonder if they have larger travel trailers like that, that could sleep more people. Great video!😊

I think I'd go with the Forest River Geo Pro. Never hurts to have a bathtub. I'd use it for washing clothes between laundromat runs. Thanks for your review! 😊

Me too! I camped with a wet bath for only 10 days and knew it was not for me. Love the concept of a MB, but haven't owned one yet. Love slide outs until they break! 😡. Thanks Kim!

Lovee the first for the price/layout. Loved the Jayco for the space. Didn't like the one in the middle because I'm a big guy so the shower is kind of a headache.

I wish they make camper trailers with out kitchen inside and keep the outdoor kitchen outside of the trailer . I would rip the kitchens out f these campers and put them outside instead . Great video over all ❤

Hi Mike and Susan! I like all three small rvs. But I like the Forest River one the best because it’s roomy. And love the counter space. I like the bathroom too! Love the theater seats with the table. RockStaff’s entire FBS line is very nicely designed. 200w of solar, and 1800w inverters standard this year gives you enough power to run a Keurig for your perfect cup of coffee. I’ve been eyeing up the 19 FBS.

Jayco always gets it right, except for the fold in the mattress. Otherwise everything else is outstanding.

I like the Jayco 19mrk. We've seen this one. It is very roomy! One plus is the good old-fashioned, reliable rack and pinion slide. One negative for us: I don't like that Jayco stopped offering a 2-way fridge as an option. Some manufacturers still offer them. Rockwood, Winnebago, Coachmen for example.

The Jayco Jay Feather is a great floor plan. Love that kitchen counter space! I'm not sure if all Jayco's are built with that slide out system so be sure to check. Great review as always.. but I keep saying it.. .these MSRP prices are simply INSANE... lol... that first one for $27K! It's a box on 2 wheels... 15K tops.. it just looks so cramped and sad.. 70's vibe.. strange!

Hi! 👋 Thank you for much for the kind words. These smaller travel trailers are a real challenge for taller people. The tub might've made a difference. I know they have to raise the shower to accommodate the plumbing under the RV, which is why there is a skylight. Thank you for your support! ❤️

@@user-jg8be7td4c Most TT that weigh 5,000 lbs GVWR tend to have a little less headroom, shower space and bed length which taller folks need. You need something to accommodate 6'8"?

I like the jayco best out of the 3. We presently have an epro 19fbs and that bathroom is horrible. Would love to eventually uppgrade to a larger bath and without the east/west bed.

In these smaller campers 1 sink in the kitchen is enough. I do like the swivel tables on the sofa versus the larger tables on poles. The second trailer is really nice. Like the no- fold Murphy bed and the cabinets around the bed when it’s up instead of that weird space on the sides that you see in other trailers.

I like the Jayco but the specs said it sleeps four. I don't see anywhere for the 3rd and 4th person to sleep in there. Am I missing something?

You need to change the lettering in the light bulb to black because I can't read what it says with the white letters. Or make the light bulb white with dark yellow letters. I love watching your videos on all rvs. I do wish you did more on all the different truck campers. I don't want a shower in my rvs. I'll just use them as a closet. As long as there's a toilet & sink, I'll be happy. I'll shower at the national & state parks I go to.

The showers in the GeoPros have always been a problem they are definitely not fluffy friendly or tall friendly. Probably better off using Campground showers if possible. Good for emergency showers only

Their website claims they are constructed with "Climate Shield ultimate weather protection tested from 0 -100° F." Not sure exactly what the climate shield means or what features are protected but sounds hopeful. It's important to make sure plumbing and tanks are protected from below freezing temps. When an RV is small enough I prefer the models without the bathroom sink. In the Geo Pro I would prefer to lose the sink in the bathroom for extra space for the toilet. I get wanting at least an area to get ready in the morning to shave or put on you makeup. Maybe this bathroom might do better with a fold away sink/counter. Maybe a Murphy bathroom counter top.

I have 2021 wolf pup,i have only used it for 4 months: black tank valve wont close, the chintzy counter top covering is un glued from the top of the sink,the sink cover is chipping away from underneath,i have to wipe the bottom of the cover to stop Mold from starting,the whole body is one inch over further on one side of the frame. The wheels look cool though.

I love the Jayco, except for the Murphy bed. Why they can’t make it so the mattress is hidden baffles me. That’s the point of a Murphy bed, so you don’t see it unless you pull it down.

My guess is that if they made that platform of the MB (that you lower) longer it would be longer than the mattress and may be in the way of the door or be a shin scraper LOL. But I know what you mean about the appearance.

@@RVBlogger - True, but other manufacturers make a folding mattress, a recessed area for the mattress to slide into when raised, or add a section at the top such as overhead cabinets or cubbies to cover that gap. Think of Embers, and a few Winnebago Mini’s, they are nearly perfect! 😊

Thanks Susan and Mike, always good reviews. Just my opinion. I wouldn't buy any of these. 1st one, too small. It's a weekender for people under 6' tall (maybe). 2nd one, the bed's too short (for me) and not enough food prep area and one doesn't need a 3 burner cooktop. (cook outside) 3rd one, while the floorplan looks okay, the bed is too short, and, personally I would never buy a new Thor product. Thanks again, stay safe out there.

Thank you Tuvia! These TT are a bit small so features tend to be smaller like the bed. But I think we should completely eliminate a 3 burner stove in any RV under 25' 😂. There are a lot of RV brands out there owned by Thor. I don't think they are all bad. Hope they all improve their craftsmanship and customer service soon!

Sorry for that confusion. Jayco doesn't provide an alternate floor plan to show but you can replace the theater seating with a trifold sofa. We have seen a trend in smaller RVs costing as much as larger ones. Not sure of the logic. Compare the cost of a Class B to a Class A or C motorhome. It's mind blowing! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

@@nikkiloves78 we always recommend checking the used RV market. Besides our current RV, all my past purchases were used. We do recommend getting it inspected. You don't want to find a money pit.

Choice between elbow room or extra cabinets in the bathroom. No elbow room is more of an irritating inconvenience than less storage.

there asking to much for the red one , ive seen others that are a bit larger for less so no I would not buy it for that price. Just so you know this is my view and opinion.

11:55: more shoddy "craftmanship"... un-sanded edges and cracked wood... and the leg coming away from the brace... come on Forest River.. have some care.. it would take a few minutes extra to sand and properly attach all these items in a $35,000 item! Otherwise - it is a winner!!

Amen! Little things like that take only a minute and make the finishes so much more attractive! We know a few dealerships personally and they tell us many RVs come "unfinished" and they have to tweak and repair to make them sellable. 😡

After using the restroom, the thought of washing your hands in the kitchen sink grosses me out! To me, potty hands must be washed in the bathroom.
