The contrast between this style of pike fishing, and the one we mainly do over here in Scandinavia is so huge. Most of our big pikes, at least nowadays, comes from pelagic trolling or lure fishing in big clear water lakes. (well, down south i guess the "bri'ish" style is used a bit more). I guess this diversity is one of the reasons this species is so popular all over the world. Big pikes are truly stunning creatures.
