it might just be because of the light but this has a more "magical" feeling than glass holograms i've seen

It's not just the light. This technically isn't a real hologram like the flat glass ones that use a transparent file to record a 3d image. It's more of an illusion, which lets it easily get past the challenges of real holograms to create something "more magical" that resembles what people typically think of when they think of a hologram based on tv/movies. It's really clever and effective

The problem is, it's not a 3D hologram. It's simply a light shining on a plastic model. Do a search for Hologram and find the difference. By the way, this isn't a "new" idea, It's been done before. Whilst I admit the item is interesting, what I don't like is someone misrepresenting the effect and accepting praise for something he didn't invent. He doesn't even acknowledge the person he copied it from. That's what cheeses me off.

This holographic effect is just stunning 🤩 For your best work by far! I hope we will see more and maybe bigger and more complex versions (maybe a cube or a rectangle with the big five avengers busts with different coloured LED underneath). Or a Star Wars project with a solid figure and a force ghost or a hologrammcall from a Jedi 😍

Absolutely beautiful piece, spoiled only by bubbles. You really need to look into getting a vacuum chamber to de-gas silicone moulds, and a pressure pot for curing your resin. Other than that, this is one of my favourites so far and would look amazing in a dark room where you’d have no idea what the model was until illuminated. If you sold these, I’d buy one in a heartbeat.
