Theres a hotel on Lake Garda where Churchill used to stay..and they've even got a champagne/ the champagne that he used to always drink when there...worth a visit. The hotel is RIGHT BESIDE the lake, so even just sitting on their patio sipping bubbly..should do it! Its the Grand Hotel Gardone.....and the champers is called Pol Roger! Not tooooooo expensive...well....a nice treat.

We were in Briancon last year about the same time. We had a fantastic drive from Italy over the pass in brilliant sunshine. Beautiful area and gorgeous town. I will have to go and find that Gorge!

I literally did that same mountain pass the other was 4 weeks ago. Definitely a bit sketchy but I just about made it. Lake Garda will be beautiful especially if the sun comes out, hopefully quiet at this time of year too!

Good to see you back. Those alpine rivers are very cold. I've kayaked on them a few times in June and in the afternoon when the snow melt bring them up the water is glacial. Great part of the world

I've loved past visits to Briancon and the Alps. It's worth going back when the big medieval festival happens. (End of June I think). A lovely place on both the quiet and very busy days

I've only watched the beginning so far, but leaving the sun, coffee, cafes and teeshirts is definitely a "plunker" idea (subtitles can't cope with your accents).

It's great to see you both back in France enjoying life on the open road. Wonderful drone footage and seeing you both happy and carefree. Enjoy Lake Garda, I particularly love Sirmione on the south shore, it's castle, boat trips across the lake, thermal baths and delicious cafes and restaurants. It's just as magical at night too, very romantic and there is a large car park at the entrance where La Bamba would be safe whilst you explore. It's a perfect time to visit as it gets very crowded in Summer months. I hope you make it there, you will LOVE :) We caught a local bus to Verona too during our 4 day stay. Happy adventuring from Co Meath Ireland :)

Hey guys, great video, we have done a similar trip, sadly we missed the gorge but we normally stop at Guillestre on the right between Gap and Briancon. Also about an hour from Guillestre is Saint Veran highest village in France 2400m. The mountain walking is stunning. Like you we went over Col de Montgenevre into Italy and visited Lake Como. The drive round Turin and Milan was crazy, never seen drivers so mad!! Loving your trip so nice to see the scenery again, even in the snow. Gordes is another of our favourite towns in Provence, stunning! Looking forward to your next video. Are you using a different lens, the background is not as clear as your videos in the past? Dartmoor was not a lot different this morning from the Col where you stopped, up in the clouds! Cheers Mike 🍷🍷

I have a gas oven in my camper and i can make the best pizzas from scratch if the mood takes me. You asked about places in Switzerland. I went to Zermatt as a kid and it stuck in my head. I think they like you to travel in by train(?) I also remember a graveyard full of Victorian climbers who died on the Matterhorn. I also forsee that Tom and Iz might be learning to weld and underseal soon 😉😂
