I thought about that but i don't really know what to do one potential solution would be connecting redstone activating both sides to the middle, for some reason it works in some contraptions. The second solution can be starting the quicker side one tick later. I haven't tested any of these solutions but one of them should be able to work, if not i don't know really what's the cause of it.

Yes you just need to connect the second button exactly where the first is connected.

Most likely you have accidentally placed some observers in a wrong direction. If you can't find it send me some screenshots on discord and I will help you.

@@blag my inside 2 pistons for the side on both sides keep getting stuck like they are not getting fully retracted back

I think you can simply replace them with normal blocks. But for some reason I used droppers so I can't guarantee that it will work without them.
