Georgia's offense wasn't up to par this year. Maybe if Cager doesn't get hurt for most of the season they could have won those games they lost, the games they had him their offense looked pretty decent. But I don't think they could have beaten OSU, LSU, AND Clemson.

I wish they would have made it, but LSU made us look bad so we didn't deserve it.

Evan Vogt , also as a Buckeye fan, I agree. I follow all of cfb (as much as I can from EST zone). UGA is strong, fast, and aggressive. This game reminded me of how they played against Florida earlier in the season. Very dominating performance. I think the SEC Championship game wasn’t a fair assessment of UGA. They looked beat up, and if I’m not mistaken they were still without several key players due to injury at that time. Not saying they would have beaten LSU, but I definitely think it would have been closer if they were full strength. The big question for next year will be if Dan Mullen can get his Gators back up to national prominence. SEC East could have one hell of a season without Joe Burrow leading LSU, and if the Tide doesn’t right their ship. Could be interesting.

Dawgs 1st string refs played a wonderful game. Non-call on obvious pass interference, non-call on the Dawg O-line for holding about 10 times. Not to mention the cheap shot to take starting QB Brewer out. No surprise the Dawgs "won"... the 1st half and got outscored by Baylor's 3rd teamers in the 2nd half. Blue-bloods shameless entitlement enforced by zebras ruined what was a much closer game than the comments these biased fans are leaving. Yes Dawgs should have won big cuz their 2s and 3s are rated higher than most of the Bear starters, not to mention the refs blatantly biased calls at the most inopportune times for the Bears. Just sayin.

Fields has a much higher ceiling, and I'm with you as a UGA fan I saw the writing on the wall that he was gonna transfer. I was thinking no way Smart will bench a QB that just almost won a natty the year before, even if he has a bad game or 2. I really wish he would have stayed, but from what I understand he had a hard time learning the offense and reading defenses. He's much better at a school that runs a systematic offense that makes even average QBs look good.

That's a TD if he doesn't have to come to almost a stop to catch an underthrown ball. That then turns into a field goal instead of 7 points. In big games that kills us.

@Faint nE that’s so wrong. Fromm has amazing arm strength but you just don’t see it. He makes elite level throw on out routes that you can’t make if you don’t have arm strength. And that one to Pickens, Fromm put it on him because they’ve had trouble with timing in the past on deep balls and a way to fix that is to just stick it right on him. He’s a great QB with amazing arm talent and maybe some of the best football IQ in college at the moment.

Get this: Baylor has now lost EVERY major bowl they've played in except for the 1957 Sugar Bowl. Other than that, they've lost three Cotton Bowls, the 1952 Orange Bowl, that Fiesta Bowl against UCF, and now against you guys. They are just HORRIBLE in most of their big games.

Kirby recruits the ESPN top 300 last year he got 19 0f the 300. We have been banged up all year. LSU won't be nearly as good as last year Joe Burrow is not replaceable as Alabama will be back in control of the West.

I am a fan and if I'm going to spend three hours watching the commercial bonanza that these bowl games have become (think super Bowl on steroids) then I want to see the very best players maximizing their efforts. Three additional weeks of practice doesn't make these guys better? If you are good at what you do, then you WANT to test yourself against the best. IMO these guys, who have been told how great they are, are scared to death to go against some real competition. UGA played three teams this, until yesterday, that are ranked, and I happen to believe that some of these guys who sat out for NFL reasons were scared of being exposed for being less than everyone thinks they are. Remember when Hurts was the shoe in for the Heisman? What happened? When OU played quality competition he tanked. This isn't preseason or some exhibition game, this is the last game 99+% of these kids will EVER play. My kid just finished his high school career this past fall with a loss in the second round of the playoffs (they got a bye the first week) and when the game was over the parents were allowed on the field to met their kids. He was bawling like a baby, he absolutely bear-hugged me four times in that end zone repeating over and over, "I Can't dad. I can't do it." when I asked what he couldn't do, he said "I can't leave the field. This is the last time I will EVER play competitively and I love my teammates and when I walk off that field it will never happen again. I just can't do it." He played half of this season with his hand in a cast, robbed of much of his capabilities, because he broke his hand n two places in a game. He didn't miss a single practice, he attended every film session and he worked his ass off. In his entire four year high school career, his team won just four games, 1 game each season. My son, who truly didn't sign a contract to play, showed more dedication to his teammates and his school, more commitment, and more heart, than those who sat out these games for "NFL prep". You can say what you will brendon, but you won't convince me otherwise.
