Spa's are so much better than pools, gyms and onsens. You can do everything you can do in those lots, but under one roof.

I think it's better to add spa items to a gym than the other way around. I've done it years ago on my Myshuno gym and spa (same gallery ID). It works really well and you get the trainers as well as the spa staff.

I added the hair & makeup chair and styling stand from Get Famous to my Spa. So sims can get a new look after being pampered.

That is the best Spa I have ever seen in the Sims! Fantastic!!

Great ideas! Theoretically you could create a spa, pool, gym, cafe/bar and onsen all combined now which would be cool. Although I think whatever you mark the lot as is what the townies will do there, so they probably won’t interact with the gym equipment, hot spa or bar…

I like to replace my community lots with gallery lots and some of my favorites are always the "Health and Wellness" gym lots. Always fun to have more things to do in a lot. I think it would be cool to add a "sensory deprivation room" and why did I never think to add a hot tub?!?!?! lol! Great ideas!

Hahaha, I changed the gym in Del Sol Valley to a spa, took most of the gym equipment out upstairs (left a few) and remodeled to add spa areas to all those empty spaces that was really already there. Because Celebrities don't want a gym, they want a spa. Similarly, I added a yogo studio to the basement of the gym in San Myshuno along with a sauna.

Petey...your vibes though....Ever seen that gif of Shaq doing that shoulder shimmy? That's how I feel vibing with your vibe which is my vibe. If this was an MMO I think we'd spend so many game hours just living our best-pixelated life together. Another Idea I added to my deluxe spa is the makeup artist chair from get famous so you can do a "new beau/new you" idea. I've also made a spa/ vacation home in Sulani where you can go with your wedding party on a vacay party, pamper, and then throw a party on the BIG day to invite others who weren't in the wedding day pre-party (bachelor/bachelorette). THen after the wedding sends everyone home early from the vacation except the bride and groom. Other idea- Bubble Blower for those who love to relax with a vape , also also, lounge chairs and beach blankets for sun tanning.

I made a bar for celebrities that you can only enter if you are a a 3star celebrity or higher (or if you find other ways to trick the bouncer... like just teleporting inside as a bat if you play as a vampire ;) ) It features a large fountain in the entrance area and also has a pool and bar and other stuff to relax other than the normal spa items.

I love the inclusion of the sleeping pod. Very clever idea. And also great for starting out Sims who can't yet buy themselves a good bed yet.

This video makes me want to recreate the nail salon I used to frequent. Would basically have to have a massive widescreen tv and a bar. Technically the salon didn't have a bar, but they served wine and I have no idea how else to make that a thing without one. Thanks for the inspiration! 😘

this vid reminded me that i've had the game for 2 years and basically NEVER use the sleeping pod. it really does fit in a spa setting!

Petey, your advice makes my game so fun. I just love your channel. I took your advice from this video and I ran with it, and I mad the most beautiful spa. I modelled it on the hanging gardens of Babylon! It's gorgeous and it's fun and I had one of my Sims make a Wellness club to meet up there. Fun aside, that Sim was a random townie, and my western Goth sim really hit it off with her when she was tending bar at the Humor and Hijinks fest. They went on one date, U-Hauled it, and now they live in their eco home and raise chickens together and host a wellness club. It's all really gay and really cute. And extra fun, because of your guidance!

I didn't even know my game had that pod bed 😳

I loved the spa update and your ideas are great, but noticed something weird with my occult sims. My sim is the daugther of a vampire and a sorcerer and when she aged up to a teenager, she had the vampire powers but the sorcerer perks table when she was previously a sorcerer. Anyone noticed something like this in their own saves?

Does anyone else have the sims keep their shoes on during foot massage? Also my sims do yoga with shoes on as well.
