I have never commented before but I feel I have to mention it: The fact that you took the effort of adding each episode and season the clips originated from is a small but great detail. This video is unironically higher quality in SD than most Top Gear compilations are in HD. Good job, mate.

I still like how they say the most mundane things you wouldn't care about as if it's the most epic thing they've done in this show "Richard is behind a low wall" "I wear a hat" "A dog goes in a car" Hell, they might even say something as everyday-normal as "eating bread" and still make it sound awesome

This show was the first taste of those "out of context" compilations I now fill my days with

It literally got to the point where they knew they could say anything and it wouldn't impact viewership, so they had fun with it.

All of these intros make it look like the show is about incredibly mundane things that happen to be filmed in the middle of insane or unusual circumstances

That could easily be released as a song, Clarksons words are quite lyrical at times

the best part is where they simply dont tell you anything about the show

my favourite part about the intros is that despite it being the intro for a car show, the majority of the intros have no mention of anything car related

Still waiting for the episode to start Jokes aside tho, this actually has some really good editing. Not only did they sync up the background track so that sounds completely continuous and never sounds like it skips at all, but they also put the season and episode in the corner so you can go find it if you want to watch the whole episode. Fantastic! And hilarious, as always with Top Gear
