Landrover isn't known for reliability either. Here both comes with 5 year warranty, wouldnt be worried. Also full spec defender is significantly costlier than glb

My point exactly.. all these Americans can’t build European cars and aren’t equipped or knowledgeable with the engineering hence they always complain.. all over Europe even Russia, bmw, range rovers and Mercedes’ are the highest sold vehicles, don’t get me started of the uk, it’s everywhere .. if these cars are terrible as UKposts folks from the states make out , it won’t be selling like hot cake & won’t all be on the road right now with newer expensive models being made yearly with even more complicated techs 😂

AMG Line are doesn't get you anything because they are not tuned and developed by Mercedes-AMG, just regular Benzes with aesthetic AMG parts. They don't breakdown all the time and they're not any more expensive to fix than other vehicles of the same caliber. If they break down all the time, why do Germans and Europeans keep buying them?

😂😂😂. Or you Americans just don’t service your cars on time . Just cos it’s German or British cars doesn’t mean to drive it till it break without changing oil and serving parts yearly. In the uk 🇬🇧 we own range rovers, my family own several and apart from yearly advice and tyre change a a brakes, nothing outside regularly servicing , BMWs are used by police, agile fast & strong , they are used by regular folks from 1 series to x6 and everywhere . Mercedes are mostly cabs/taxis or private hires, mostly e class and S class whilst families use the larger SUV , most vans and deliveries use Mercedes’ .. these are luxury cars that are owned by practically anyone with a job & can afford monthly repayments, most people buy used cars and it’s all checked and have to pass regulations. I get that American don’t really like regulations much hence you get the lemons. our cars are fit for purpose and doesn’t just break down like that, if it does gosh it will be an exceptional case , we do yearly service and something called MOT else you won’t be allowed on the road. All these horror stories are usually on UKposts & mostly by Americans or people who don’t even own these cars but heard from a friend’s friend’s cousin that they break or not reliable for some reason. You’d think we in the Uk would be stuck in traffic on London roads behind broken down range rovers or Mercedes everytime since they always break down but guess what they sales are so high up and selling like cakes , if it’s bad you think we would be buying them? ’ 😂 !

I had a BMW X5 that I bought prewoned with only 15k miles. Had the car for 7 years, put 156k miles on it. Not one issue ever & never any times did I have to have it serviced beyond its regular 10k mile services. The only thing I put money into was run flat tires every 2 years or so because I constantly flattened my items with pot holes or large screws in the tires. That’s the only place my money went with my BMW. It was a great car all those years! I just traded it in for a 2022 Mercedes GLB 250 because I wanted to go smaller & the gas mileage is a little better. Preowned with only 3k miles. Hoping I have the same luck as I did with my BMW. If not, I’ll trade it for another BMW because I’ve been happy with German cars (& I have owned both Hondas & Toyotas in the past) 😊

I have 170000km and have not been to service since 60000 when EGR was recalled - free swap with in 2h, nothing broke, just preventive measure. B47 2L diesel motor, X drive, full option f36 4 gran coup made in 11.2015
