I honestly think Minecraft needs and end update already. It would be like the nether update (adding mobs and biomes), and it would add way more purpose to the end than just completed in the game.

we definitely need lots and lots of structures inside the game, gives it a lot more life and exploring will be a lot better

The tropical update could be called the archipelago update. Adding the various thing you suggested and some other things, like fleets/ convoys/ tropical villages/ floating villages and stuff like that

I feel like powdered snow without leather boots being able to be worn would be the equivalent of quicksand without the freezing effect

Minecraft needs a lot more stuff like this. The game has so much more potential. I like the idea of the entrance to the end portal but certainly too easy to find. Maybe if the entrance was more like an eroded hole in the ground edged with variations of stone, mossy stone bricks, cobble leading down a broken staircase.

They should add all these updates into one large update, because it'd give the game the polishing it needs. The islands are boring and the beaches are just mini deserts, and coves would be cool to discover. Random statues and ruins would be cool and give the game more unexplained lore, and lush rivers and creeks would beautify our worlds. I love these mini update ideas and they would really polish up the game!

I agree completely with the desert idea and then we can get scorpions maybe and maybe fire flies or flies bc they get attracted to an oasis *edited* water falls also sound AWSOME! But the Mineshaft update will probably like never come sense the Rascal lost 😞 but it's fun to imagine!

Did you know that rivers usually begin at glaciers in mountains? That would definitely be a cool addition

The quicksandblock is in theory already in the game: powdered snow. You sink into that block but has the sideeffect that you start freezing, if you dont have leatherboots equipped. Just retexture powdered snow and you are good to go. Hypothermia is also accurate so nothing would really change in the end

This is amazing! My favorites is definitely the pyramid, oasis, & lush creek. I think it would also be amazing to add more ambiance music such as birds singing, wind on mountains, waves in the ocean, and owls at night would be very interesting. The waterfall design for yours is also very beautiful instead of a random slit of water.

You should really make an Minecraft mod to the game. Like all your structures and bioms. I would looove that mod! And it’s even pretty easy.

Maybe a Golem update that could add the Copper Golems and Tuff Golems, along side the upcoming Minecraft legends Golems.

I feel like the oasis and the quicksand are great ideas for the desert, they are small but would add quite a lot, also they are really vanilla like :) The small island is a very great idea to upgrade the islands you can find in the oceans right now, since all the cool stuff is going in UNDER water The beach is such a subtle but very cool update that in my opinion should be added straight away ahahhaa The volcano could be very cool if they were very rare as to not be overdone the (lush )creek is sooo beautiful and honestly I don't know why something like this is not in the game already the small camp is really cute and veryyyy vanilla in my opinion I defy think the portal room could be updated to be much cooler, just like the library, like you said already I honestly think the entrance into the stronghold would make finding it a bit too easy I feel like the way you designed the mineshaft is very cool, it would really elevate stumbling upon a mineshaft, while still keeping it quite similar as to how it currently is overall you have very good ideas, although I feel like a couple of ideas were either just not my thing or just a bit too much (for example as cool as I think a waterfall is, I feel like the creativity that is there if people to have to build it themselves, is worth much more, but that might be just me) but I feel like most of your ideas were very good and suited really well for vanilla

I think every build or at least most should be implemented in the game, they look amazing and serve a good purpose, whether that be decoration or a structure. What Shaders are you using, and how do you get the clean outline of blocks, for example stone or stone stairs? It looks super nice and I would love to know EDIT: I watched the youtube video you posted in the description and wow the shaders look amazing with your settings!

Oh man, this video is truly brilliant. I really like your vision and direction of your thinking about Minecraft future updates. Small and lush rivers inside forests, better beach to water transition with dense forest behind (it really gives feeling like you are Robinson Cruso and you don’t what is on the island). Oasis’s are great and palms are must have, pyramid size, it’s style and parkour puzzles are really fits great to minecraft

For your Trophical Update idea I want them to add a engine so if you build anything above the water like a ship you can add a engine on the inside or the outside to make you have a faster travel time.

teh volcano and the lush rivers / streams, the dry variants, waterfalls, the statue with loot, and the mineshaft entrance, are very good ideas that should get a real update - in MY opinion

Minecraft can also add an Illager update that could add mountaineers and the Icologer add make Ilusioners spawn in game.

Honestly you are one of the best builders I have seen and the end library one is a really cool design I wanna build that in my hardcore world

Hey DB! I don't know if you read comments on older vids, but I wanted to add an iedea to your "dried up river" concept. I think adding an occasional single water source block at the bottom of the river with small pathes of clay touching would be a nice touch. As I player who always hated going underwater to collect clay, this would be a blessed change to world generation, even if the dry river doesn't yield as much clay.

another river type for the mountains could be glaciers and glacial creeks/rivers. For the lush rivers/creeks, there could also be some clearings, allowing better access to the rivers. I also love that you've added actual elevation change to the river, because minecraft rivers now are always flat. With elevation change, river rapids could also be a thing, and in those rapids could be some types of whirlpools or something, like a different water block, that spins or damages your boat. Soul Sand could also work.

I think what's best about Minecraft's terrain generation and generated structures is that they are simple, so basically anyone can add to it at the same level. So you don't need really high skills in building, but you can continue to expand on it, upgrade it, repair it. At the same time, expirienced players and rebuild it more complex. This way anyone playing the game can add their own ideas, without it feeling out of place

Minecraft UKpostsrs are so creative and original with their update ideas. These people are who Mojang needs to hire.

Adding onto the structure updates , I think it would be cool to have a ranch in plains biomes that has some cows, horses and one big farm house with some loot

cold ocean update >artic biom added >salty water (would slowly lift you up) >penguins and whalekillers added >sunken titanic structure added

Maybe they can add sharks in a ocean revamp update. Making sharks neutral, attacking you if you are low but also depending on the species like bull sharks can attack with 10 hearts and hammer heads when you have 1-5 hearts

Those things would make really cool updates !! And i cant ever find the stronghold, so it would be much easier. Good idea to make these things !

All these ideas are definitely something we should have but especially the structures and river variants. It would make exploring so much more fun. I also really like the end and mine entrance because when it was in use before it was abandoned they wanted a way to get to it right?!

My guy has such creative ideas Mojang could never think of. Then again, they probably aren't even trying

i like all of them but the stronghold library and entrance, and the mineshaft entrance is something I couldn't agree because it lose the abandoned feel, for the mineshaft itself just destroy a few block and put some cobweb and it's fine

the stronghold staircase could be blocked, so you still have to dig, and the number of blocks you have to dig changes with the difficulty

A river update is a good idea you could add new fish and bait for fishing

This video makes me think that there is a conflict inside of the minecraft comunity. There are people who want the game to be fixed in terms of design and balance, and there are people who want that bigger pyramid. In a world where mojang people are sincere about their love of the game and not stupid, the next update deletes elytra-firework flight, makes fletching table have a use and makes totems of undying rarer than a god apple.

We need to make the dungeons more in depth. We need to keep the current ones, but a smaller version of the stronghold with more spawners and traps would be cool.

I think regular mineshafts should be in game honestly since we already have abandoned ones like why not but maybe put them in some villages by cliffs not having the greatest loot but have more coal spawns that way it’s not to op like no enchantment books or diamond tools but have a lot of coal veins and some iron ore veins or if it’s a desert/mesa have gold ore in place of iron that way it’s a good early game fuel source kinda thing Edit: Same with the abandoned islands cause the small islands you find in the oceans are terribly lacking

They should update the witch huts and give the witches more affiliation with the pillagers. They could even make a witch tower structure on top of mountains in hilly biomes.

my idea for an update? to me, the Overworld feels... empty. not enough monsters - or animals, for that matter. in my eyes, a great Minecraft update would be an improved Overworld; one that's a little more inhabited. and the mobs below are my idea of doing so: *Deer:* a peaceful mob that spawns in the Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Taiga, Snowy Taiga and Mega-Taiga biomes. drops a new food item: Raw Deer Meat. *Seal:* a peaceful mob that spawns in the same biomes as the Polar Bear. i wanted to give the Polar Bear something to hunt, as well as introduce a new armour: Sealskin Coat. but the Seal can also be pet; one that brings you fish. should you tame one, it can be healed with Salmon or Cod. *Boar:* a neutral mob that uses a modified Hoglin model. spawns in the same biomes as the Deer; drops Leather and Raw Pork Chop. *Bear:* a neutral mob that attacks you unprovoked if you have Honey or Salmon on you; and it will be attracted by Bee farms. it's exatcly the same as the Polar Bear, but brown; and it spawns in the same biomes as Deer and Boar. it eats Deer, Salmon, Honey and Berries. (being and omnivore, it can eke out a living even in biomes where Wolves and Lions are present) *Lion:* a neutral mob. felt like adding a predator that hunts Boar, Deer and other mobs the same way Wolves hunt Sheep and Foxes hunt Chickens and Rabbits. biomes it spawns in: Forest, Plains, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Jungle and Savanna. while attacking you, it can also roar to deal damage; it's like a blast. (i know, only the Savannah fits it. but in antiquity, lions also roamed Europe) *Snow Leopard:* a neutral mob that uses a modified lion model. biomes it spawns in: Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Snowy Tundra and Mountains. it can be seen hunting Rabbits and Deer, as well as Mountain Goats in the Mountains. when it attacks, it can roar to damage you; but it's more like a burst. (there used to be regular Leopards where the Lion spawns; but the pressure from their competitor forced them to go elsewhere, settling into the biomes i've mentioned earlier, where Lions dare not go, and becoming Snow Leopards. i'm explaining the lack of normal Leopards) *Wyvern:* an airborne hostile mob that uses is the Phantom's model; but it's twice the size of a Phantom, has a longer tail, can open and close its mouth, has the Ender Dragon's wings - it also has the Ender Dragon's forelimbs, but used as its back legs, and they're shrunken. biomes it spawns in: Forest, Birch Forest, Plains, Mountains, Dark Forest, Swamp, Taiga and Mega-Taiga. it spits venom, drops Venom Sac that can be used to brew potions and craft Poison Arrows. its colour is either green or black. *Cockatrice:* a hostile mob that uses the Chicken model, except it's brown, is 2 times bigger than the Chicken, can open and close its beak and has the Phantom's tail but green. biomes it spawns in: Forest, Birch Forest, Swamp, Dark Forest, Taiga, Snowy Taiga and Mega-Taiga (basically, woodland). it can fly, but only for short distances; and it does so either to get away when its health is low, or when pouncing on you. it attacks by pecking, kicking you with its legs, as well as breathing a new projectile attack: the Toxic Fireball. when it explodes, it leaves behind a poisonous cloud. like the Wyvern, it drops a Venom Sac that you can use to brew potions and make Poison Arrows. *Salamonster:* a large, monstrous salamander and a hostile mob; it uses the Axolotl model, but it doesn't have gills (those 6 frills on the Axolotl) and it can open its mouth. biomes it spawns in: Swamp and Caves - specifically in underground lakes. it attacks by biting, swinging it tail and spitting mucus at you. it can also use its long tongue to pull you towards it. *Troll:* a hostile mob and a *mini boss* that shares the model with the Iron Golem, and they're both the same size... but it's appearance resembles that of a Villager. Trolls sometimes wield clubs, which they can drop. the club is repairable with wood; depends on the wood it's made of. but the Troll can also drop its teeth, which can be combined with the Club to make a Spiked Club. biomes it spawns in: Forest, Birch Forest, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Dark Forest and Mountains biomes; sometimes in caves within said biomes. a Troll cave is the only way you can find and learn of a new food item: Meat Stew. *Kraken:* a hostile mob that uses the Squid model; but it's much bigger, and is red. it can also squirt pressurized ink to attack you at range. *Sea Serpent:* a hostile *boss* mob. it has the head and tail segments of the Ender Dragon, minus the horns and spikes; and it's a fair bit longer and bigger than the Ender Dragon. it attacks by ramming into you, biting or spitting an explosive bubble at you. drops Sea Serpent Scales to make ahelmet that allows you to breathe underwater and boots that let you swim faster; and it also drops Sea Serpent Teeth to craft arrows that work underwater. *Dragon:* a hostile mob and a *mini boss* that shares its model with the Ender Dragon, but it's half the size and is green or red if it breathes fire, blue or white if it breathes ice. biomes it spawns in: Forest, Plains, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Swamp, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Snowy Tundra, Savanna and Mountains. the Dragon also borrows the Ender Dragon's attacks, except the fireball has a more potent blast, and leaves behind fire; the breath attack is also fire. Dragons that spawn in snow-related biomes replace fire with ice. said ice attacks inflict Slowness (freezing would be unfair, imo). when it fights, it behaves similar to the Ender Dragon: shooting fireballs while strafing. but it sometimes lands, and will try to whack you with its tail, bite your head off, or blast you with its breath attack. the mob drops Dragon Scales for a new armour set: Scalemail Armour. it also drops Fire/Ice Sac for 6 new potions: the normal potions let you breathe fire/ice, Splash potions create a wave of fire/ice and Lingering potions leave a cloud that burns/slows down mobs. the Dragon respawns after 1 day. this mini boss is meant to be battled as many times as you like. *Mob Fortress:* a new structure that serves as a dungeon that can be challenged once a day. it spawns in a variety of biomes, and certain mobs spawn depending on the biomes (Husks if in a Desert, Strays if in Snowy Tundra). the Mob Fortress, regardless of biome, contains the following mobs: Undead (again, depends on biome), Jockeys, Skeleton Horsemen, Spiders, Witches, Cockatrices, Trolls, and Wyverns. at the end of the dungeon is its boss: a Dragon. like the Undead and as i said before, which one you get depends on the biome. you fight it atop the fort's main keep. defeat it, and you'll get a large chest as a reward. it's content is: mostly Emeralds; some Gold bars and nuggets; weapons and armour ranging from Leather to Gold (it includes Chainmail) - if you're lucky, you'll find an enchanted weapon/armour piece; Diamonds, although rarely. the reason it can be challenged once a day is because of the Dragon: as i said before, it takes 1 day for the Dragon to respawn. *miscellaneous:* add the Fox and Rabbit to the following biomes: Forest and Birch Forest. particularly the former. it already has the Wolf, and it'd have the Deer, the Boar, the Bear and the Lion (again, there were lions in Europe, once) - typical animals you'd find in a forest... but the Fox and the Rabbit - which are also forest animals - aren't present. i'd like them to be added. and add Sharks and Crocodiles as neutral mobs. the Wolf is a neutral mob, and so are the Boar, Bear, Lion and Snow Leopard. hostile mobs are strictly fantasy creatures, right? why not add these 2 mobs as neutral ones to liven up the Sea and Swamp? what, the Spider? the exception doesn't make the rule. there's also most of the mobs that didn't win the Mob Votes like the Rascal and the rest of the mobs from the 2017 vote (the one the Phantom won). i just want to improve the Overworld. right now it's a little boring with not that much to do. i wanted to make it a bit more interesting; battle a monster that you can find right next to your base (figuratively speaking). these mobs and new structure are ideas that i'm pitching, and i came up with them when i asked myself "how would Mojang make them?"; i wanted these mobs to feel... natural, so to speak. i hope Mojang takes notice of this, even though i shouldn't.

Since we have Camels at 1.20 maybe Mojang will add Oasis in deserts

What resource packs and shaders do you use? Your textures look gorgeous, specially the leaves from the palm trees! Anyone else knows?

If they made it so you cant build inside the pyramid until you loot it that would be so good

I think an enchanted book that allows items that are enchanted with it that will make its so that the item wont despawn and can only be found in a certan structure would be super cool (DO THIS MOJANG)

Minecraft originally was conceived as a *sandbox* game where all of the content was player generated. The move over the last 5-6 years to destroy that should not be encouraged. The only update players really need is to the variety of blocks available to create builds with, and the biomes they can be found within.

We need maps for the bastions. I think trading with piglins should have a chance of giving the player a map to his nearest base.

This is why mods are soo great i am currently playing with 276 mods. Which makes the game soooo much better. It is defifinitly still minecraft but with all the things you talked about and more.
