Wish I knew you two years ago when I started to make wreaths and NO ONE was telling you where to put the pipe cleaners. I asked and no one answered me. It was infuriating. No one does it better than you, with such clarity from beginning to end. Between the spacing and the different ruffle designs anyone can be successful making beautiful wreaths! What a God send you are. Thank you so much. This video is a keeper!

@Gizmo I understand. I got no help either. I watch his video from Christmas and was able to make my first wreath! I don’t know what it is, but I find the wreath community isn’t very helpful (or friendly). I hope we can change that.

Love your videos. My mom is a seamstress . The finished edges of the mesh are called the selvage. The "good" side is the outside or, yes, the finished side. The other side is the inside. I hope that doesn't sound snooty, I definitely don't mean it that way. Looking forward to move videos!

I love your videos and how you explain each of the wreaths. I just cut Dollar Tree mesh to make a curly wreath and it seems to be fraying a lot! Is there a mesh that you recommend? Thank you!

Hi there, all deco mesh tends to fray a bit. The Dollar Tree mesh does fray A LOT, I will admit that. I tend to use higher priced mesh from Michael's or a reputable wreath supplier. Poly burlap mesh is my favourite to work with and has less fraying than most. Also, a burning tool (wood burner) works very well to seal the mesh as you cut it with the tool. Hope that helps a bit for you.

Wish I knew about you before I started making wreaths as well! Lots of waste in my trial and errors. Do you have any videos with suggestions for adding ribbon or cut fabric? I add that to all my wreaths but you probably do it better :-)

We all can, it's easy and fun to do. 😊 There are some videos out there that show you how I attach ribbon onto my wreaths. The latest one is a black and white Valentine's Day wreath. Love your videos on all the wreaths, can I ask advice please, I have 8” rings and 6” wide mesh, how big should I cut the mesh and how many would you say I’d need please.? I’m doing them for centrepieces for a charity event..

Hi Audrey, I did a little 8" centre piece with deco mesh. I used the curly method. It was a while ago that I did the video, but I believe I cut them mesh at 6"-7" lengths and then bundled them together to make the ring around a glass vase to make the centre piece. Question: is it necessary to use a heat tool on the edges of the mesh? Or does using a rotary cutter rather than scissors stop fraying? Thanks!

Hi there, deco mesh tends to fray, that is just the nature of the beast and I think I just got used to it fraying. It bothers some people more than others. In order for the fraying to stop, using a burning tool is the best way to stop the fraying. But, if you do not wish to use that, you can use scissors or a rotary cutter. Unfortunately, there will be fraying with both of those cutting utensils. You can always use methods that hide the fraying a little bit...like the curly method, or the bubble method, or the ruffle method. Those tend to hide the fraying a little bit more than the other methods. I hope this helps. Take care and thank you.
