About 2.6 million in texas alone, and that’s with hundreds of guys like this going out and hunting as many as they can. They probably just give ‘em to nature

A lot get left in the fields, bodies don’t last more than a day or two before coyotes, birds, or even other pigs clean it out.

Last time I checked hogs were kill on sight. But check with your own local hunting license corse because some do some dont.

Would not be comfortable shooting around cattle or other non-target livestock. Good shooting, and best of all, looks like good communication to control your fields of fire.

The waste is when they are alive. This is not hunting this is eradication of terrible vermin. They just need to die. Something will eat them even if it's worms. I assume that you don't understand the logistics of recovering and butchering 50 hogs spread out over a huge area and in the brush.

Judging on how they have cattle I would guess that they would collect the bodies and move them somewhere else as to not attract predators so probably dumped in a certain part of the woods it is illegal to sell the meat and hog tastes horrible so giveaway to the few people that want it and then the rest just dumped in the woods

Wild boar is invasive so they likely sell them to the government for 40-60$ per boar due to their invasive status. They probably made around 2K if they killed 50 boars

They do have suppressors. Theyre still pretty loud. Even if they were totaly silent, pigs figure out what the sound of a bullet smacking meat is pretty quick.
