One of my favorites things about winter and driving a B5 A4 Quattro is being able to effortlessly drive through inches upon inches of snow while other people struggle. :)

Very nice; always enjoy running my Stg3 RS4-converted S4 on good winter tires in some heavy snow. But when it really is too much, Ariens snowblower for the win! Best heavy-gauge steel machines, nicely welded... and Subaru engines now? cool!

Hi Chris. Do you how many celsious degrees is the air on the intake manifold? It is just for curiosity, because in Brazil we fight against this all the time because of the local weather, we have "cold days" (like 15 degrees C) that the air temperature at the manifold gets 60 to 70 degrees, but we have days in summer that reaches more than 100 degrees. Cheers!!

When your running high boost and need to cool the intercooler

Damn I miss our Audi's when I watch stuff like this. Needed something bigger for the expanding family. Now we have two 4Runners which are just damn amazing, but they just aren't Audi's. A 4Runner will get you anywhere without complaining EVERYDAY! An Audi will get you there too, but it might need a sensor or two here and there and a little bit of love now and then. But, when you drive that Audi you forget about the little nickle and dime b.s. now and then because it just feels sooooo damn right!

Great to see that you've still got your S4! Always enjoyed your videos when you were overseas. I sold my B5 years ago but I still miss it. Great car.

If you scroll down a bit you'll see my 4 month old comment on me bragging about Subaru's AWD, recently ive been doing some research on Audi's and recently drove a b5 and b8 s4. Conclusion, my Subaru is for sale and iv already put a down payment on my S4. Thank you, i hope this solves a lot of these arguments take it from a former Subaru fanboy.

The winter tires are the key here. If you had the so called all season tires on the car you would have gone about 3 feet before getting stuck. Most of the people that watch this are probably thinking that the all wheel drive is the answer, it is not.

I don't get the Subie vs. Audi comments. Audi makes a substantially better product than Subie ALL DAY. That is why they cost so much too. You get what you pay for folks. Subaru makes dirt cheap Japanese tin boxes with AWD while Audi makes a real performance luxury car. They aren't even close to the same, and they aren't supposed to be. I wouldn't even buy a Subie over a VW let alone an Audi. Come on guys. Next thing you know we are going to be comparing Toyota to Mercedes or Hyundai to BMW. Get serious folks...

I've been a fan of your b5s4 videos for a while now. Never knew you had a channel though, always seen the Neragoblues4 videos else where. Glad to see you still have it. A buddy of mine just went with a 034 single turbo kit with his, put's out some nice power. These things are getting harder and harder to find at a good price, hope you hang on to it for the long run!

My old '96 A4 plowed through the snow like a champ(I live in Michigan's upper peninsula so lots of snow). Siped the summer tires myself as an experiment and they worked great. Had to constantly clean out the snow and ice inside the rims though due the low pro tires. Wish I had an S4 instead though.
