First of all thank you so much for your time and replay to almost every comment… I fix ps5 as well (but not as good as yourself) last month a customer brought a ps5 dead not switching at all.. after checking power supply which was giving 12 volt on board then i disassembled the board assembled it back pressing power button it switched on back gave to customer and after two week they brought it back with same issue… shall I simply dig to that capacitor or do something else? Because my story matches yours or shall I do more finding on the board? Please save my refund 😊😊😁😁

BTW: could you find any reference of the SBV 061 DC/DC converters from TI anywhere - or are these "SONY specials" ?

I have the same issue. Its won't turn on. I send for repair. But at the shop it turn on as normal. Back home its ok then next day its happen the same.

How did you know this was the spot to look? Like what made you pick that IC. this is where im getitng stuck at.

If I tell you that I work on machine worth 100.000 euros, that have literally around 650 pcb boards, and I have the same problem like you, Intermittent missing 5V, occuring totally random, any advice how to find it? :D I spent like 7 days trying to isolate the problem... :) It literally defies all logic and all my knowledge :D
