The whole "Wrath was a stagnant expansion" argument is flawed because infinite growth is impossible. Somehow growing beyond 12 million players in 2010 with a game you both have to buy and pay a subscription to while owning a gaming PC is extremely unrealistic. And there was still an overall upward trend towards the end of WoTLK's life span! What I'm getting at is that WoTLK had reached full market saturation, basically everyone who could play it was playing it.

Professions was at its peak in Wrath imo. It was actually pretty important and VERY useful overall. Blizz really dropped the ball in retail along with class buffs and I can just go on and on. Never understood why but oh well...I came back for Wrath and pretty sure I'll be here for a very long time!

Thanks for the great video. Great advices up until gold and server choices. Unfortunately, those two advices applies to the vanilla wow, not the current classic situation where bots overrun the server and insane high inflation. More realistic approach would be "the real gold sink is gdkp so get ready to save hundreds of thousands of gold or your credit card" or "most of the populated servers will be dead where people will want to get away from inflation situation by moving to a fresh server and after 90 days they will bring paid boost and those servers will be overrun by bots".

If im not wrong blizzard announced there will not be LFG in dungeons i WOTLK because they feel like the classic style is more about finding a group and being social than just making the game how it was with 100% copy back in the day.

Fel iron gear from tbc is the best you can get for dks From 60 to 70 you won't change any plate gear. And then at 70 you can switch it to Cobalt + dungeon quests rewards or some trinkets you finded lvling 68-70

Wonder if they accidently start with the version that makes a grey drop from a quest mob BoE with no level requirement, which made it the twink weapon of choice for a while. Wrath was probably the best expansion for twink pvp, because you could freeze your XP and perfect your twinks, and there are going to be a lot of people who can do the Naxx enchants to kit them out.

What do you suggest for a primarily pvp player? Would i HAVE to do raids and such to be competitive?

Just a heads up dks start at level 55 not 58 and there is no dungeon finder this time around. And vanilla was advertised alot back in the day. Even celebrity's were advertising it on TV. So that would probably explain why it grew so much then.

I think the Algalon title is going to be the most prestiguous achievement for the whole of the expansion and will be sold for lots of gold.

Okay so engeneering is basically what i have as mage. Auction house or bank? Hs to nearest inn, quick port to the city. Fast running to skip mechanics. Meh I stick to blink. Sure some enchants are nice, but I'll stick to embroidery and enchanting (lack of alts for farming). Sometimes I'm to lazy to walk through shatt or og and just just teleport to og while in shatt. I just couldn't live without that one spell.

Are you aware of how off your math is with JC? The 3 JC gems that you get are 70% more stats EACH than epic gems and just like TBC we are not going to get epic gems out of the gate. JC gems out the gate are >110% more stats than the blue gems available in phase 1. If someone takes your word as law they are liable to think that BS is somehow better than JC which is not true at all.

The kirin tor 7k gold rings are all 200ilvl. Which means they are as strong as naxx 10 gear. Extremely good, especially if you buy one right after hitting 80.

Man i really wish players these days didn't kill so many games. The only thing people want to do anymore is speed through games as fast as humanly possible which ruins the experience of those who actually want to enjoy playing a game. I am so glad classic exists, I just hope there are others like me who want to enjoy playing the game regardless of how long anything takes to do, especially dungeons and raiding. I actually enjoy the quests and story lines in these now "classic" games. I wonder if dks will really be that popular, as a main anyways ofc they're great as alts. I feel like the classic community is so min-maxy that you'll see more people just rerolling to whatever the top specs are, which afaik won't be dks, and they're not completely new and shiny like they were when wrath released originally ofc I'll be maining a dk, probably blood, because I've mained dk on retail since wrath beta and dk has always been my class since they were announced. It doesn't really affect me either way since I mostly do pvp I don't need to worry about raid spots and all that, but still I prefer not playing the overpopulated class.

Blizz confirmed that you can only go 10/25 man version of raid, so you have to chose bettwen norma and heroic

Didnt mention a problem with high pop servers is wait time to get in the game . I had no problem on night 1 at launch of classic and TBC getting into and playing game on Bloodsail when game went live while all the clowns who wanted to play on high pops with their streamer pals cried not being able to get into game

Correction Mining gives 60 Stam not HP

1. DKs start at 55 (edit: Mistakenly said 58 but thats when they leave their starting zone) 2. Epic Gems arent until way later. We wont get those for a long time 3. Engi has some of the best enchants not just boots. 4. The 8k rings from Dalaran are ass and not worth the amount of gold when u can easily get a better ring from JC or raid 5. going back on profs, most class bis are engi and jc so mining will be a huge money maker. So will tailoring. 6. If youre a caster with good AOE you can farm gold easily in WOTLK by picking up tailoring and a book that gives you cloth from humanoids. 7. Once you can do the Hodir quest so you can get BIS enchants. 8. Try not to do a heroic dungeon without a tabard equiped. Here are easy things to do and some mistakes in the video
