@@ice_man81 They are not that bad especially with the most diverse character creation I have ever seen that even effects abilities and the combat can't be beat. I grabbed a harpy by its feet, flew it to a cyclops, let go, landed on the cyclopse's head and took his eye out with my daggers. Dude. That's fun. Sorcerer sync as well is excellent, even the reduced casting time lending delicious anticipation to huge cinematic power spells up to x 4 if you're daring enough to go with 4 sorcerers, and even melee which I normally dislike in games is fantastic, really chunky and satisfying. Then there is the pawn system, absolutely ingenious and compelling to master. Okay, the story premise is good but not well written nor thought out but who cares, those battles are fun and I am really looking forward to 2. I wonder if you have even played it. If not, you're missing out over cosmetics. That would totally suck.

Holy shit, I actually forgot about that aldlar game, it's just like you state in the video, a game that was in development for so long, that you completely forgot about it. However because the game is in early access, and it has the potential to become far better within time, it will potentially get better and better as time goes on, unless the developer gives up like so many others. I hope that doesn't happen with this developer, but it is a possibility, a possibility I don't want to see.

I know what you mean, I mean there is a game series that I have one of them to remaster, not remake not reboot, remaster within modern-day engines, and that game is Thief. The old Thief game is still a damn masterpiece, however because of how dated it is, it doesn't run well certain computers, and it's kind of a pain in the ass when it comes to playing on controller how you want to because it was made for keyboard and mouse, I would love for this game to be remastered within a new engine, maybe even make a full scale universe of the full story of the games into one game. Essentially it could be sort of open world to a certain degree, I mean if it was created in the ue5 or even ue4 engine, it could be one hell of an amazing big game, although I'm not sure that the ue4 or even you a 5 engine work well with lighting and Sound design, because that was very important in the old thief games back in the day, which no game or Game Dev has been able to replicate till this day in any game. However, Splinter Cell did an okay job at getting something just like that in their old games, not so much the new ones, the new ones are more shoot them ups and a lot less about meaningful stealth that makes sense and isn't too much like a cartoon when it comes to those mechanics. Anyway, I love skyrim, and when they come out with their next Elder Scrolls game, I hope it's a lot like skyrim, I hope they don't take away too many features, cuz that's a big worry believe it or not, cuz they could potentially take away certain features again in a future game, I mean they took away levitation from Skyrim as well as a few other capabilities that existed in Morrowind that were Superior in many ways and allowed so much playability that we didn't get to have in Skyrim. So it's my hope that when they bring the next Elder Scrolls game, they bring back features but also not take away certain features that we loved using in Skyrim and the rest of the other Scrolls series.

@@user-tp5yb4hr4w About Isles of Aldar; the developer has low-key dropped the project. His (developing?) partner left in 2021, which coincides with the time the game's progress slowed to a halt. People are annoyed because it took him this long to come clean with it and to top it off he has decided to work on another project, stating he hopes to make enough revenue to return to Aldar... In other words, forget about this one.

@@ivoryowl oh i see, so he wasted all that time not telling anyone, yeah that would make me pretty pissed as well, although i do understand his point, i think the isles of adlar is his baby project that he wants to become something amazing, but because he needed to make more money to get the needed help to finish the project, it makes sense why he's doing this, but he shouldn't have said this so late in the game.

I do not get the love for that game. I played it and finished iit. It was the bare minimum to get me to play thru a game. It wasn't bad by any means but it was on the pleasant side of mediocre.

Absolutely agree. Been wanting a Skyrim / Fallout type of game that is co-op. (Fuck eos) and skyrim together mod just isn't that great. To be fair, there's a real lack of coop games.

I was searching for this comment, oh boy am I satisfied, because I love this game, the original I mean, I only have few hours in the remaster but look forward to the new location and adventures.

@@LordofSorrow7 it's great. The lore is fantastic, the combat mechanisms are very satisfying. There are so many imaginative character "buffs" that shape the character through the adventures. It doesn't have that intangible "quality" that just elevates Skyrim to an unfathomable level of magnificence (most notably there are frustrations with interacting with the environment so it lacks the same sense of escape), but it shows so much promise. There are some elements that are better implemented than Skyrim, and others that could be developed/polished. It feels like an enhanced version of an imaginary "Elder Scrolls 4.5". I'm really hoping the franchise gets another instalment, especially if we're having to wait several more years for Elder Scrolls VI.

@@hedleyparis397 I approve. I finished the game twice or thrice, then upped some other char at lvls 30 to 40 until the last region. Tested most of the possible combinations of skill trees. Most of the races and gods. Most of the schools, houses and guilds. But vanilla, I have yet to test Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel, plus the new part of the remaster. I espacially like the crafting system for all items : pots, gems and gear. I searched for a Skyrim mod that adds mixing hilts, blades, rivets and components but the only one I found was not that well made so I resigned to the current smithing system. Which is eventually not that bad. I think it fits Skyrim better this way.

@@LordofSorrow7 Dead Kel is great. I don’t spoiler you, but it presents some wonderful new game play ideas that could be developed into great things.

Plus the character of the Captain is utterly comical.

I found Dragon's Dogma to be very helpful for improving my gaming skills- it's difficult enough that you can't just button mash, but it teaches you skills at a very reasonable pace and rewards experimenting with a variety of builds, abilities, etc.. It can also help you gain confidence with boss fights because it has a lot of large damage-sponge enemies that are ultimately very manageable. If your finger dexterity issues are a matter of skill (as opposed to, say, arthritis), playing Dragon's Dogma might be the thing that opens the door to Souls games for you.

@@SopranoOfTheNight hey, thanks for this - I bought Dragons Dogma and Elden Rings already, and started with ER. It's nice to just explore but damn, getting killed so many times in a row just ain't my thing. I play casually a couple of hours once or twice a week. Do you feel DD could work well like that? Also - only after watching this posed I realised mods are not just small optical add ons but can be even small games. So I still have all the ES mods to have fun with ;-D

@@Swiergotka78 Depends- Dragon's Dogma has very limited fast travel, so you can end up spending a lot of time traveling between quest/plot areas, which tested my patience and would make a couple hours a week too slow for my taste, but maybe you would enjoy all the travel as a form of exploring.
