My daughter the old soul shared something like this when she was in collge and said "mom i only eill keep whatever fits iny car" Now her dad and I live in a small mobile home - decluttered, and i couldn't be happier than when living in the big 5 bed, 3 bath home. I give her credit for this lifesyle change.

I've pretty much got rid of unnatural and chemical stuff. I use borax and vinegar for laundry to help rid chemicals from dyes in clothing and no longer buy Downy softener. Use natural essential oils for cleaning and leave a window open year round for fresh air. However, I've got to get rid of some clutter! 😊

I regularly declutter and try and maintain simpler clutter free home. I regularly throw out or donate items. We have moved and downsized a little so I have work to do. It’s always good to regularly keep the space clean and clutter free.

Unwanted gifts is 💯 % of what I have been going through for a while now. Strange this video showed up today ! Gave me strength to give away a 4 year old gift I received from My Mothers boyfriend when my mom was alive. This gift haunted me each time I looked at it in the cupboard. I just 2 days ago took this item still brand new in the box waiting by the door. Now I have the strength and permission to give this away with ease. ❤😊 Thank you 🙏 setting something free and I don’t have to look at this anymore 😢 had so many sad 😞 memories

You will feel better. When people give away an item from someone who’s died, othey’re afraid they’ll lose their connection to their loved one by letting go of it. However, you get to build a new space and invite your mother into your life moving in creating new memories with her. She’s always with you.

@@shanthapillay5608 Please know that you are NEVER obligated to accept a gift from anyone, especially a phoney person who is pretending to like you when clearly they really don't. You don't owe them anything. But try politely saying: "Thank you, but I'm not comfortable accepting your gift." Refusing the gift will cut the dysfunctional cord between you, that keeps them giving you unwanted gifts, which is what you want. If you're not comfortable refusing the gift, then just accept it and either re-gift it or throw it out as soon as possible. You don't need anything in your home that was given to you with negative energy attached. Good luck!

Adopt the 3 D’s……Do as in wash iron n mend Dump as in dump. Delegate……as in put away in a box for 6 months n see if you still want need or get rid of. Good luck folks n try to be ruthless. It’s not so much the difficulty in getting rid you need to look at your attachment to it. Remember too that clearing n space makes you feel heaps better and lighter and you can’t take it with you. If it’s not beautiful or serviceable then get rid. Blessings ♥️💐♥️

Today I wore a mixed oil that has rosemary in it.......best day I have had in a while.......lower vibrational spirits weren't working through my co-workers today which made it VERY pleasant ❤❤❤ I sorted through a lot of items and kept those oils and prepped them to work for me.......

Yes unwanted gifts very wise to get rid of, especially food items..I got very sick one year in college on a tight budget, when a friend donated a closet full of cans and kraft dinner which I didn't realize till later were all out of date.Ugh!

It looks like I'm getting help from "above" (I know we all receive this, it's just how much you're open for it) - right on time. I have 2.5 days to clean my (computer)room. Not our house, it's alright. The room has to look "brand new," but this is my memory of my campus years. You get the idea? It has a sofa, full of computers and whatever that can be connected to them, but even more... trash ! And since I never let no one in, everyone is smiling. After seeing this video: yes, it makes sense to combine an earthy (or earthly?) task to a spiritual one. And I might pick up "mindful cleaning" again. Thanks !

A rule in my house...whatever comes in something must go out. That also includes food. Look in your freezers, pantries, stale maybe outdated products. Either use up the product, give it away or dispose of it in an environmentally sound manner. You might also be pleasantly surprised how your grocery bill will look.

This is exactly what I'm currentlygoing through! I've been shredding old receipts and documents that I really don't need to keep anymore. I've given away books that I've read and that I know I'll never read again. Same with cookbooks. I kept my favorites and gave away the rest. It's always a good feeling to have extra space after clearing away stuff I don't want anymore. 😊

I bought two incense burners one is the down flow lava type, the other is my beloved lil voodoo guy. The puppy i had on hold (still incubating!) once home and older i burned one cone...... He's allergic! Poor guy. At least i can look at the nice burners? I have them packed away. In the middle of a reno i was going to live in, until the neighbors moved in a few months ago. It's like they moved IN with me. I don't live back there again after the hurricane hit 1.5 yrs ago. It required replacing all sub floors, damaged from a retention pond OVERflow 30" outside came in through the under belly, destrying all floors, stopped by flooring of carpet or vinyl. This WAS a cosmetic reno, not structural, i have no power tools! Happy to say the vinyl is almost done on the last floor, kitchen & short 6ft hall.

I truly believe in my heart ❤️ not to let go of the negative highlights of my life so it can serve as a reminder to not be what I did not like, as for holding on to items nothing last forever in this world 🌎 we here temporary so I can let go of the illusion of having these items forever, pics I don’t see as a problem. Side note: we should all look for info/videos on what our "obsession" with sage has done to the indigenious people/land where the real good sage comes from. It is kind of like coffee. We entitled people love something but dont realize there is a down side to the people and lands where it comes from. This high demand for "sage" to fulfill our so called spiritual thinking has been detrimental to the lands and people that have to harvest it.

Essential oils & incense are wayyyy too strong 4 my sensitive nose. I just prefer no scent at all.

Essential oils have to be diluted in a carrier oil for topical and in a diffuser, or room spray, etc. You can make it as strong or light as you want. May 1-2 drops in the defuser if you're sensitive, then add as you acclimate to it. Also, some oils are stronger than others. The mint and citrus oils are going to be stronger than wood, herb, or floral in some cases. They are 100% better than synthetic fragrances and all the chemicals that are going to be in your air fresheners soaps and detergents. All of that stuff has so many chemicals and additives. They are endocrine disrupters. Look up research on phthalates.

Sure, but what about all the “fragrance” in your personal care products (shampoo, lotions, deodorant, etc.) and household cleaners & detergent. THAT’s where a more natural approach (cue the EOs) is more gentle and not toxic.

I always have had a strong ability to smell EVERYTHING but lately it’s gotten stronger. I’m often laughed at and called K-9. I do love the fact I’m able to smell that something is unclean. I also find it concerning when others don’t (disgusting/my opinion). But now I’m finding things I use to enjoy just don’t smell right. But if there is a smell I enjoy (rare) I can’t get enough. It would be very boring to me to have no scent.

Detachment can be toxic too. And many people who were raised by anti-septic parents "rebel" by having overly cluttered homes. That's the emotional attachment to stuff. It's not balance.

I don't agree on clutter. My stuff is all possible materialisation of ideas. In theatre, in making things, in gardening. My house has many projects laying in it, that I now and then pick up to continue with. A supertidy home makes me feel poor, fantasyless, not inspiring. I like messy homes of others too because you can see what they're doing: playing guitar, singing songs, knitting, planning their garden etc

What about the unnatural wideband microwave frequencies thay have been constantly increasring from the new cell phones, repeaters, wifi, Bluetooth, radio Frequency bands and the dopplar radar systems all around the world, which was the first time in recorded history around the natural world which has seems to have had very negative effects, especially since being more and more disconnected from earths natural Frequency we and all nature came into being with... why would the new higher frequencies be better than the older? Uninspiring art would be anything that is not real -like many famous artist did. But that again is only in the eye of the beholder. Fake smells is just about anything except real flowers= good luck buying them everyday. Old electronics - if it works will most likely out last anything new. On lighting you need if you drop something or doing special work. The older you get the more lighting you need. That would the old saying if you are approaching GOD and the light is bright turn away from looking at it. No understanding of light itself. Guess she never knew about looking at the sun mid afternoon doing an exercise with it. The purer you are the more you can look at the sun. The idea of looking at God the brighter it get just means the more you are understanding it. It cannot burn your spiritual eye.
