2:05 that's actually an unused block (moving block) that has been heavily edited through NBTS. You can actually do some pretty crazy stuff with it, like beehive with custom mobs inside of them, NPCS with griefing commands, and in this case, two blocks inside one another.

I remember when I was playing Minecraft Pocket Edition back in the day, and I was so confused why, when I joined this map I downloaded, there was a whole bunch of these update blocks. Eventually figured it out pretty quick, because most of the update blocks were on a line of redstone. They were presumably Repeaters.

This block is not unobtainable or unused. This is actually another name for the reinforced deepslate, only found in the Chinese version of minecraft, which is kept secret from the rest of the world (not very well though) and only sold in china. It could also be Japanese version but i forgot whether it was called japanese or chinese. I hope this solved your problem! As for the slot however, it is just the reinforced deepslate with a hole on the top, similarly looking to an empty end portal frame, but its a full block.

The unknown block can be obtained by putting on a mod loading up the world placing down a block that was from the mob that has code written inside of it and then remove the mod the unknown will appear and you can pick block it

I don't know how Bedrock works, but in Java, you can go into the jar file, go through the assets folder and look directly into the loot table of any block that exists in the game; no need to go through 2 minutes of experimentation of breaking the block in survival and replacing it to air with the destroy tag.

Movingboock was probably added because creativity but they were like “this is useless” and did something else.

That update block is something I kept seeing placed in my mc world (that texture on a block) when I opened up a world on an old tablet that hadn’t had power for something like 5 years.

also you can get it to generate if you convert a java world (were you generated shunks in the nether) to a bedrock world and go to the nether you will see those blocks (and a tons of errors in the chat) I think it's because in the java nether the air is not named the same as the air on bedrock or in the java overworld, it happened with one of my world I don't know if you can still do it

I made a mod, and I instantiated the block part of the block, but I purposefully omitted the item part of the block to see what would happen. I got the same result. The block could not be searched for in the creative menu or in the command menu; the block did not drop its item when mined; and you couldn't select it in creative mode either.

I have personally found this block before, when k was playing on pocket edition and I went to build a roller coaster then I found an end crystal with the exact same texture

In minecraft pe with the toolbox mod u can get it by using inventory edit

there is a bug that when you put negative damage on armor the texture gets invisible but the item is still there and when you try to pick it up it disappears

You should make an end portal and a nether portal in the same place and then tp into it and see what happens

I know this block, I saw it already back then in MCPE You can just first make a portal to updated version of minecraft, then uninstall it and install a really old version of minecraft where portals do not exists yet. Also it might work on blocks that do not exist yet in the old version but do exist in new version, also the only one I tried yet is the portal (I experienced this many years ago, and didn't expected that I just discovered a mysterious block that I just ignored for years because I thought it was a glitch...

This is just the update block, it has to be on the Minecraft files, this is a way to get see the update block without changing your world to an older version and also have it in your inventory, it doesn’t drop anything because it’s supposed to be a block of a more recent version that is not loaded in your world.

U know what? I downloaded a like a bedrock prison map and when I completed that and got outside, THERE WAS THE MYSTERIOUS FRAME EVERYWHERE, it was randomly generated and we could break it and then with that unknown block, we can only break other unknown blocks idk how it generated
