Case in point, there's a Pakistani family that owns a convenience store just a few minutes up the road from me who were robbed about 2 years ago. Dude came in a few minutes before they closed, pulled a gun and had them empty the registers and took their wallets. All five male members of the family who work there were present; grand-father, his son, and 3 grand-kids (the youngest grandson was like 20 with the oldest being near his mid 30s). They didn't put up any sort of trouble for the robber, did everything he said and again I'm gonna restate the fact that they made no moves to call for help during this robbery nor try to fight off the robber. This fucker makes for the door, turns around and starts shooting at them. For no real reason, he had his money and he was right at the door to leave, and he stops to turn back around and open fire on a bunch of unarmed men. The old man was killed, infront of his son and grandsons, and two of the grandsons were wounded. Sorry for the long "story", though this did happen and the senselessness of it all gets me a bit heated still. I can understand why people commit crimes, I can even say that in some cases there's situations which might even warrant it, and I know it's cruel to say this, but it's cases like this that make me almost -ALMOST- glad that the state of texas has the death penalty.

Yes, during a mugging, we are not very polite but as people in general we are very generous, polite, and caring. Well, most of us. Canada is also very diverse. It doesn't matter what culture or religion you belong to, as long as you were born or live in Canada, you are Canadian. You don't necessarily need to play Hockey or enjoy Maple Syrup to be Canadian.
