To complete this series, Lindy needs to interview an Eastern Ukranian rebel fighter who lived in the Donbas and saw the Russian Invasion as a savior event, and a Russian Volunteer who joined the war to fight the Nazi's and help their Eastern Ukranian brother. Many Russians volunteered to fight as well. I know of one American from Texas who went to fight for the Eastern Ukranians years prior to the Russian invasion, and was very happy celebrating when the Russians rolled into town bc it meant the end of genocide in the Donbas (led by Azov). Having 4 interviews, 2 & 2 of opposing sides, is a much better picture of WHY this war started and why two sides are fighting.

What do you think of the Nazi death squads except lose to kill everyone they could grab? What do you think of the Krasnoarmeisk massacre of 2014 where Ukrainian troops opened fire on referendum voters, waiting to cast ballots? What do you think of the Nazis battalions that systematically kill people for having the wrong kind of last name or being heard speaking the wrong language? Their government is why this war is dragging on. The leadership there is abysmal. They are all corrupt and on the take. Once you get east of Germany you cease to find honour cultures, morality is not an issue, face is. There's no pride in your work, there's no getting places through hard work and excellence. It's all nepotism, who you are family with, who you are friends with. This is why the military are abject failures, and why they immediately drove the overpriced tanks we give them into the same mine field three days in a row to abject failure. Because the leadership are not there because they know what they're doing. They are there because they are there. Everyone there needs a demotion five ranks. And their president needs to be replaced, the western media has made him popular, but they just had a near civil war because a foreigner who shares no culture, religion, or ethnicity with them and serves foreign interests was ruling over them. And now they have the same again. That's not what all the euromaidan protesters died for. They died to have Ukrainians leading Ukraine.

As a former grunt, Brandon is right about staying humble and being personable. I learned really quickly that your support personel can really make your life easier, or a lot harder. Somebody's got to close with the enemy and hold ground. You can fight for a little while; but without beans, bullets, and band-aids, you're not sustaining for any period of time. around 48mins: wait, you need army boots? do you accept used ones? in switzerland almost every single male swiss person gets a very good pair and they stay good for what feels like forever. the army is fairly large, but even more people do civil duty and stuff where they dont, barely or just lightly use them. the swiss government may be super annoying to work with, but it should be more than just easy to get thousands of perfectly good pairs of combat boots here. afaik when you're done with your service you keep them, also many people choose the option to buy themselves an alternative so they just have another pair laying about. do you think it's worth it for me to try and organise a bunch of them? i'm pretty well connected (grassroots kinda, not with politicians, though the lefties will defo hear of it very soon) and i'm confident that we could fill a few vans with them. i should hit up my older army comrades to ask them what they could/had to keep after their duty was over, i'm sure there must be some more useful things for us to send to you

@@autumn4142 it's not like i cant, it's just that i dont wanna waste everyone's time (and boots) if they arent actually needed. also it's much easier to work hard and overtime when you know it's needed for a good cause. there are plenty of ukrainians here, at least a few of them will drive back to ukraine every now and again and at least a select few will agree to take care of the boots, that's not really a problem since i've done it before when i sent cartloads of food and others sent hygiene products. for a while there were people driving multiple times a week from my city alone. what i'm afraid of is if all the boots arrived and nobody needed them bc germany sent like 100k brand new ones and ours would just be donated to civilians. still not bad, but we have our little winter clothing specialists already and these boots may be nice and somewhat warm, but they arent "saving babushka's feet from frostbite during soviet winter"-warm. they are still just combat boots, good for letting sweaty feet breathe a little, keep them safe from barbed wire and not let water inside.

It simply didn't happen. Some civilians died, due to the "civil" war that russia initiated after getting kicked out in 2014, but none due to the shelling of cities. Unlike at Bakhmut and Mariupol, where russia whiped those cities off the map with civilians in them. For that, there is actually a shit ton of evidence. Also, if you want to go back in time: there is plenty of evidence for MH17. Russia is a terrorist state. And its lies are catching up to it.

Hey there, just for the record and -hopefully- for your personal amusement, dear mr. Beige, I am a young adult from an oriental despotism in the middle east who has bettered his accent, way of speech and everyday English knowledge with enormous help from your channel (enough that one my most dear friends two years ago, when I had shown him a video of yours said how similar I speak to your exalted manner of speech) and this note is my way of thanking you. Alas donations in foreign currencies are extremely difficult in this specific oriental despotism due to sanctions and isolation of this land and sadly even if I manage it due to the extremely low value of our currency (it is indeed so low that your average retail worker earns about 120 Dollars per month for tireless work) it would be so little that it may look as an insult as is attending a lucullan banquet and bringing for the host creme de menthe. So please excuse me for being so very bold and thinking that my letter of kind words and thanks mean more than an offering of creme de menthe. Thank you very much. Sincerely yours, Kasra.

I've worked in the international automotive industry (a pretty low level office job but still, I know a bit). It is very unusual for legit car dealerships to ACCEPT cash let alone demand it. Because most dealerships are technically financial institutions (because they finance cars) they MUST comply with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) legislation. Especially if they are dealing with two randomers claiming to be volunteers in a war.

We need 2 more interviews to give a more accurate picture of the war and why it is happening. 1 interview of a rebel donbas fighter who saw russia's invasion as a savior event. 1 interview of a russian volunteer (there are a lot of them) who signed up to fight the Nazi's and save their Eastern Ukranian Brothers. Then we will have a more accurate picture of the war, what is happening, why, and how we can stop this in the future. (The primary way to stop this is to prevent USA/NATO from starting proxy wars, destabilizing governments, and supporting fringe terorrist groups for the past 75 years).

Writing a historically based graphic novel on a topic you have extensive experience with, or painstakingly hand drawing each page one at a time... Particularly as the plans repeatedly changed as the goals were surpassed. The guy might have prior commitments. Not many people can just drop everything and do whatever like lloyd potentially can.
