Great vid, love the more relaxed format. "Don't be afraid to die" is the GOAT tip imo. With FPS being so battle royale focused I find a lot of my mates frustrations come from being shredded from any and every direction and at any time. Just gotta learn to accept it, assume you're always spotted, learn the deathtraps and chill..you can always get revenge at the next spawn 😉 This is the way.

I'm one of those people who've never touched a BF game before, and this one was free on PS+ so I figured I had nothing to lose. I'm enjoying it so far, it kinda reminds me of Titanfall 2 with the aesthetic. I'm absolutely dogshite but I'm old so I play games for fun. Loving the content, loving the "fun over everything else" attitude

BF vet since BC1, just picked up 2042 this week- in no small part due to these videos. I go full sweat every time, trying to solo cap objectives. Easy to get frustrated as I have so much muscle memory for BF4, takes time to get used to 2042. These videos good reminder to chill out and get weird with it.

First of all I love the laid back approach SQUID G ! And wow what a view when the rocket started to blast and everything came alive .. smoke clouds fire planes choppers ..the whole shebang.. this was a visual love letter to Battlefield !! Absolutely awesome video again brother!!

That rocket going off is insane!! Even though I don't play much of BF games, but they sure have excellent landscapes and visuals. I never play for KD, don't care about meta this or meta that. I do go tryhard every now and again but mostly just log on a play for fun and whatever happens, happens.

it does help to play and work with your squad despite that DICE left out the squad leveling incentives that were in BF4. but "just have fun" is definitely good message in general.

i'm a nerd for fps games, and battlefield is one of my favorite franchise. recently (the time this comment posted) it got a big disc on steam, currently worth around $8, so i decided to give it a try. Still, i was sceptical on the game because of the launch, but then again, i only heard that this game only get better and better since then. The last battlefield i played was BF2 on PC and the Modern Combat on PS2, so BF2042 will the first time i played latest battlefield there is. Great vid you make there! Can't wait till the download finished so i can dip head first to it. Hopefully the Asian server is not like BF V or BF 1 with how much hacker there is.

Not to take away what you are saying Squid, but when I first started, I played solo conquest against AI , I got new attachments and weapons faster, not to mention I got better at playing, because familiar with characters etc.. I strongly recommend to anyone just starting 2042, great video!!

One thing that'll help the new players and the Battlefield veterans, is keeping your expectations LOW! It's not the Battlefield series we remember and share stories about. Just find the good strats, meta gear and take it easy. 😅

Been playin this game since it released. I am glad it’s doin well these days! But I still somewhat suck 😂, but I can hold my own at least I only like playing these characters like reviving teammates as Irish, or placing the Sentry as Boris or just slugging it out using the airburst grenade launcher from Zain.

just got this game a while back, played bf3 and 4 on pc and some battlefield iteration on ps3.

I preordered the game but wasn’t sold on it after it dropped and figured it’ll get better over time. Finally coming back in and been enjoying relearning the game

What gets me frustrated is when I get spawned killed over and over again. And it's not when I spawn in the same objective. I can spawn in a tank that just blows up, when I'm getting in it, then I spawn on a squad mate that just getting gunned down with me as a bonus, next spawn is on a "safe" objective that gets bombarded by a camper tank from the other end of the map. And so on. This happends to me so often.

Game looks so fun got a good pc just a little old so i haven’t been able to run the the conquest modes which sucks a bit. Same thing with Warzone ran high frames at first but now that the games been out for some time I can’t even get the game to run without stutters

One thing I've always loved about BF and especially CQ is I don't need to be in a good squad or on a good team or play with friends or even win to have fun. There's so much variety when it comes to shenanigans 😁
