I re-watch this game at least 4 times each year. One of the best games ever played in college football. Trevor Knight and the rest of the Sooners played their heart out. My husband died last year but I played this game so many times he always smiled and said, “Haven’t you figured out who one this game yet?” Thank you, Sooners.

I absolutely lost my shit at 8:48 . Right before that, the commentators showed a highlight reel of Aj McCarron leading up to this final drive, propping him up like he can pull this drive off. He then proceeds to get sacked, fumble the ball, and it's returned for a TD. It then pans immediately to his girlfriend and mom, shocked. The best part of it all, is that we all know that the SEC was, and still is, oppressive as all hell, on ESPN media, and etc, thanks to just Saban. Of note, is the fact they chant "SEC! SEC!" as if to promote the conference rather than a single team. Knowing that the stadium had no Bama fans left, leading to the end of the game, you can hear OU fans chanting "SEC! SEC!", as if to taunt the entire conference. The commentators make no comment about this.

As an OU fan, I too didn't believe we would win, and Trevor Knight who played that night, was not the QB we had all season long.

I've never heard of more trash talk leading up to a game than what the SEC faithful poured out before this game. Literally thousands upon thousands of comments like "Bob Stoops is about to pay big-time for his foolish comments that SEC superiority is "propaganda" Bama's gonna win this game by 50." "You shouldn't have poked the bear, Oklahoma. Now you're gonna see what a pissed off Saban can do!." SEC homers came out of the woodwork from all over with their score predictions such as Bama 56 OU 3. Several put there money on it as the point spread skyrocketed all the way up 18 1/2 points in favor of Alabama before kickoff.

Why derick Henry wasn't starting 2013 and 2014 is beyond me. He was the best running back and saban kept taking him out. When he was in vs OSU in 2014 he was unstoppable and saban still took him out 😂 I guess the goat even makes mistakes.
